@kramertmarie The only way to make a manuscript submission to a traditional book publisher is through an agent. If you don't have an agent, then your manuscript will never even be looked at. Even if it is, your odds of getting published are close to zero.

@cosg9531 Thanks for the advice but, I'm already aware that I need to go through an agent, and have been seeking one for quite some time. That, is just as difficult as as writing the book was. I was hoping that through being invited on a very popular show like Ellen's (that I do watch, and Love!) I would have a better chance of someone helping me get to my goal, as well as selling a few books privately.

@kramertmarie no offense, cause having dreams is important. know that it will be near impossible to make it on a show as Ellen, as a author. im not saying it cant be done, but it will be a long struggle and a difficult one. but they wont put you on the show when youre not published and are very succesful(there are alot of very succesful writers who havent made it on). dont get your hopes up too high, getting them crushed will be more painful then being unsuccesful. you have my best wishes tho ^^
