Weight distribution into the ball is a myth. There is pressure shift within a pivot to create leverage but the weight shift as an idea of creating power is pure myth. If you watch these swings you can see the pressure shift in the backswing from the pre set address the pressure shift is felt on the ground on the inside of the left shoe then in the left leg before you hit the ball adding to the kinetic chain.
