Why isn't Linda Ellerbee back on network television 5 days a week, anchoring her own style of news program? My God, with hatred spewing out on cable and satellite programs like O'Reilly, etc., Linda would be a breath of fresh air. I wish a network like MSNBC would bring Linda on a Noon Time (ET) broadcast, and let her anchor and write, in the same style she did on NBC News Overnight. Myself and a lot of others miss her presence.
"And so it goes" sounds like something someone would come up with if they were writing a parody on stupid anchor sign-offs. "Trite" doesn't even begin to describe it.
BTW, Larry King phoned. He wants his glasses back.
