to resist till march 13th 1940 when this war ended. Great Britain and France were preparing help for Finland from north of

scandinavia, but Germany invaded Denmark and Norway and so the allied reinforcements couldn't arrive.

However at that moment USA were NOT in war, as you should know this happened on december 7th 1941 (Pearl Harbour).
