Dude, I am christian, but I still do listen to metal, even death metal (Though I'm not very much into it) like for example Dark Tranquillity (melodic death). I've even listened to some songs from "Death", and I kinga like some of them... still while I'm not very much into this kind of stuff, i respect it, but when you get to the point that you get your song to sound too rushy, noisy and repetitive, it's just too much for me, I really don't see the "art" factor in it
