  • radiohead sucks they maded a mistake miley rulez

  • This is one of the better tracks on In Rainbows. No doubt.

  • this is just a nightmaaaaaaaaare, muy siddhartha jajaj aguante radiohead!

  • Clearly, the greatest talent of our generation.

  • awesome

  • Musical brilliance. The most relevant and appealing (imho) band on the face of the earth.

  • I've never seen Ed on acoustic before!

  • I love the hard hit of the drums in this live version, very distorted harder feel. I think it might just be the recording device, but i wish the studio version had that feel.

  • someone will play this during the third world war

  • it's called 4 minute warning because, it used to take 4 minutes for hitler's V2 rockets to reach london in the 2nd world war.

  • perhaps we have a "4 minute warning" until the dollar crash, hyperinflation, global katrina climate catastrophe, disease outbreak, oil shortage, nuclear attack and/or famine.

  • Really?? Thats crazy!

  • No, the 4 Minute Warning was supposed to be how long it would take a Soviet nuke to reach England (although in reality the government would have detected it closer to the two or three minute mark). The government prepared a broadcast warning people to seek cover called the "4 minute warning."

  • ohnochuch hit it on the head

  • anyone know why its called 4 minute warning?

    why did they use 4?

  • Look it up on wikipedia (I can't link to URL's)

    "4_Minute_Warning"

  • the song is EXACTLY 4 minutes long...thats why lol

next time you listen to it, watch the time carefully..

  • ......the most beautiful song which melt my heart, my mind and my soul to Infinite......

  • colin is sooo busy in this video :))) cool

  • To mess up for Thom Yorke is still fucking beautiful - Radiohead will play on as I'm exiting the earth in years to come

  • poor Thom haha :( this band is fucking brilliant!

  • This is sheer musical brilliance from one of the world's greatest bands. The song is haunting, yet beautiful at the same time. It reminds me a little of 'You and Whose Army', 'It Follows Me Around', 'Fake Plastic Trees' - all brilliant tracks. This is my favourite songs on the Bonus CD.

  • i dunno if this is just the sound quality or something, but theres this odd, growly thumping sound going on. whether its intentional or not, i really like it.

  • i can't seem to work out what is colin's role in this song. :)

  • his favourd jog of tamborins

  • Much better the Live version... the Discbox version is too "soft" I think, not bad however.

  • agreed

  • I hate to admit, but I've already got the bonus album, it's all over the internet....damn good song, gives me chills. Not that all his songs do, but rarely on the first listen.

  • I think this is the best song of In Rainbows... I'm anxious to receive the Box to hear the studio version of 4 Minute Warning.

  • I quite agree, this is in my humble opinion the best of the new batch of songs

  • i agree too, as soon as I heard it at a disc 2 listening party I said "that's it"

  • It looks like two things: 1) Radiohead are never going to make a bad album and 2) we are going to have some shell out some hard cash for the Discbox, just to hear this gem. I gotta find some work. Get some physical moola. And start on my first journey of digital downloading.

  • Believe it'll be on disc 2 coming out at the end of the year - I don't think you'll have to get the discbox, but good for you if you do.

  • Ha no one's mentioned that at 1:01 Thom stops playing I guess he gets lost or forgets the words,"oh shit.....it's alright...." and if someone wants to say that it's part of the song and they are too good to make mistakes please spare me they're just human beings

  • it was ed who made the mistake

  • what mistake did he make exactly? was it his rhythm was all off? it kinda looks like it...

  • no it wasn't, it was Thom

  • @ok4mymemory no it wasn't. thom forgot to sing where he was supposed to and that threw him off.

  • mate u've just made a stupid statement. we all know the world is round.

  • Sounds like articulating beautiful poetic music

  • lol yeah, my heart sank to the bottom of my feet for a second when i saw 4-minute warning, but then i came to my senses and realised radiohead would rather eat their own heads than cover anything by the buck toothed gimp known as mark owen

  • I was so hoping this would be a Mark Owen cover...

    *Cough*

  • I remember that song lol :P

But could not remember who it was by "4 minutes left to go, that message on your stereo : 4 minute warning" god that was shit :P

  • the extreme fuzzy sound of the drums sounds like landing bombs and it fits the song's theme perfectly

  • haha, funny colin, he was looking for his tambourine

  • hahahaha! you're right girl!!

  • Sounds like Rufus Wainwright

  • it sounds like a christmas song.

  • what can I say? it's Radiohead...
