welll. I live in Sheffield and am Pakistan. Back in Punjab Medical college FSD Pakistan I had many friends from Bangladesh came here for their studies. Many of my Bangladeshi friends believe that Bangladesh is a result of terrorism of Pakistan army. I belive that to be true. We should be patriotic as Pakistani's but we should not forget the facts. We were ruled by hooligans that time who hated to invest in east Pak of that time.
In 1969, Parliament discussed allocation of roads to be built. When minister said that he allocated 30% to east pak. One of our honourable Major General responded, " we should not invest even 5% of that into East." I think its better that Bangladesh is built. At least there are no bomb blast every day.
I had to call my brother at 4 am PST to check my family's protection after we got news of Moon market blast on ARY.

Pakistan today do not believe in the democracy. In 1971, genocide took place in Bangladesh, people were deprived of their basic language and freedom movement, that resulted to defend our nation. I am glad India helped us fighting the Pakistan.
Sheikh Mujib's leadership was crucial for the liberation movement of Bangladesh. I don't think anyone should question that. It is however true that after independence, due to lack of both resources and proper manpower there were many difficulties. And, there was widespread corruption. No man is perfect, so from the period of 1972-1975, Bangladesh was a mess. But you cannot deny Sheikh Mujib's role in the independence of Bangladesh.
I have read the views of both sides on this forum. Everyone is claiming something on their part. Only missing thing is that the name of MUSLIM. Both are muslims now decide who is Shaheed? Ask your God to decide. Victims of this aftermath: Poor people on both sides. Very simple
