Me to but not musician. Tag should be clear there but I'm from and live in a southern music town and love this kind of music. I Should know what an autoharp is (cry eye) I was raised on HeeHaw and the Mandrel Sisters for pity sake.
I'm from a small town in GA and I love Hee Haw and i'm a teen (16) which most kids at my school doesnt know what the heck hee haw is, kinda sad. But yeah I play bluegrass/country/gospel
I had never heard this song until it was played this summer at my dad's funeral with a band from Eastern, KY. It was beautiful, he was an amazing man and this was a beautiful tribute.
Thanks for the post, I was hoping I could hear the song again....and the tears are flowing.
you do sing well and kept true to old bluegrass....but.....if you want to record this with a less tinny sound it would work better. Just to get the true clarity of your voices.Other wise good job
Luv it!
