Great video! I do this sometimes too, when I want more controlled curls than I get naturally. You might want to consider using cloth scrunchies instead of the rubber bands. Not so attractive, I know, but hey you're going to sleep anyway. They help with squirrely ends and strange crimps. Also, more buns = less of a top/bottom curl division, so the top of the head gets curled too.

hey i did this all the time before i saw the vid but u did a good job explaining how to do it.....and btw you might want to try using a straitner at the first three inches of ur roots for more body....works better then backcombing..
