@puffpuffin1 Sorry Puffin 1 the concrete island was not not considered a safety zone because there were not any safety barriers to protect the pedestrian ...... and all the sinage instructed drivers not to pass the LRV unlike the designated safety zones that have a 10MPH speed limit sign posted....... I did not pick the location the SFPD picked that location I just shot the video.

I think it would mitigate quite a bit of the problem. The issue is that it would be one more expensive mechanical point of failure that the Muni Metro would have to do regular maintenance on.
Which is why the solution will never be implemented.

She did NOT stop nor look towards her right hand side to see me, just her left side to look for other cars coming from the other directions. I think Right Turn on Red should be illegal. If you can't follow the rules, you don't Drive to San Fransisco, Periode, leave your car at the train station in San Jose or Oakland and take a train into San Fransisco, and ride buses, Cable Cars, trolly, or muni.
