  • so this is what they do in iraq lol USA!

  • It seems ta me that a light charge under a pound of candy would be a lot more entertaining for the kids than a pinata.

  • Any calls from ATF?

  • Do you put an over-powder wad under the ball? If so, what?

  • Y'all have WAY to much fun!

  • AWESOME VID. I use model rocket engine igniters to electrically fire my cannons. That way I can just hit a button and not worry about fuse times and running away. Just a suggestion.

  • @thallium200 We have a bunch of electric matches but I didn't want to have a static issue cause an unsafe condition.

  • @ammosmith True in a desert environment that can be a concern with static build up. Proper grounding procedures can a pain in the but in the field.

  • WHATS A 0341 AND A 0331 ?

  • @tupp21 Marine Corps MOS...0341 is Mortarman and 0331 is Machinegunner

  • Love that BOOM!!!!! Looks like you found a better way to bowl.

  • Awesome. Love your videos. Very unique and interesting. *****

  • the hardest thing to do in video is editing yourself. I know you think it was the right length or you wouldn't have posted it as such, but look at it again and see where you could take out another 45-90 seconds. The extra time doesn't heighten anticipation or create a mood. It just drags it out. Good boom boom though. Like to see some slow mo of that.

  • @gmyers2112 I had a hell of a time getting the lighter to light. Plus I had a generous amount of fuse. No need to put myself or my friends at risk.

  • did you think it was going to knock down all the pins on the first one

  • @josephd27 That was shot 11...we didn't know we were gonna hit a damn thing. Those little cue balls haul ass!

  • If you can get your hands on an industrial gas (nitrogen, etc) cylinder, it is just the right size for bowling ball. Put the fuse in the top where the valve is, just saw off the bottom (difficult - it is tough metal). Actually it is best as a mortar not a cannon. 4 oz black powder at about a 40 degree incline - the ball goes out of sight.

  • @FractAlkemist I prefer mortars anyway...I was a 0341 and a 0331 in the Marines.

  • Gotta have one!

  • Holy fuck! What an idea! I'm kinda surprised 1/4 pound of pyrodex didn't split the seam. What is the wall thickness of that post setter?

  • @ArtistBlade1972 About 1/8" thick...Pyrodex doesn't generate too much pressure.

  • video on how to make one and loading operation. PLEASE!!!

  • @highlander723 You bet! It's easier than you think too. We want to make one that shoots bowling balls.

  • Sttttrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiike. LOL I don't think they'll let that in the alley.

  • That was a pointless, testosterone fueled, display of knuckle dragging immaturity fit for the red neck special Olympics ... AND TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

    I want one.

  • How long did it take to sight in? Yeah I agree, that's a 300 game.

  • Pretty cool man

  • i can't believe you found the ball afterword

  • This is brilliant!! Any idea what kind of range it could have?

  • @brown55061 We shot one at about 45 degrees and it went about a mile. We saw the luff of dust where it landed and used the rsngefinder to judge the distance.

  • So, when are we going to see the Brunswick Bowling Cannon on the market? LOL!

  • That is awesome guys lol

  • well, this is certainly one up of a potato canon. :) lol

  • I've got one of those fence post setters. Never thought of THAT use for it. You must have drilled a hole for the fuse.

  • Good Ol' Boys having some fun.

    "Hey look, another strike!" LOL

  • who needs a 50 cal when you got this :P

  • try shooting a bowling ball with cue balls :P

  • Great vid.

  • Very cool! Close up slow-mo of the strike would have been awesome! DO IT!

  • That is so cool I know you guys had a blast excuse the pun LOL

  • HOLY CRAP!!! The explosion sound is amazing.

  • That is Awesome! Will an actual Cue ball fit in the canon ? I heard cue balls are just slightly bigger than the rest.

  • @Ultimatemxcn It's a canon made from a fence post setter..and the cue ball is a perfect fit. With about 1/4 pound of Pyrodex it shoots awesome!

  • Looks fun.

  • roflol

  • Pretty sweet man, good idea!

  • STEEEERRRRIIIIKEEE!

  • thats awesome

  • thats the best strike i have ever seen.

  • I'd like to see that round tested on ballistics gelatin.

  • What kind of camera.

  • Smells like Napalm in the morning.

  • lol is that whaat you wanted the vest for

  • I like the way you guys roll...

  • Right on!!!
