when i first heard to this band i was really sick to my stomach at the time and was throwing up pizza-egg flavored dessicated middle-eastern pita chip disgust, and this music and vocalist was making it like a hundred times worse! after i got better i came to appreciate it a lot. but because of that experience they will always remind me of the most blasphemous,apocalyptic, gothic, vile images ever, like zombies vomiting adipose flesh and morbidly obese gargoyles eating angel fetuses

Damn the vocals! The musicianship and riffs set this band apart. One of the greatest if not the greatest death metal bands ever.

The riffs are so mechanical and the vocals so guttural. Really isn't another band that followed in quite the same style.

The best thing about the vocals is that they aren't pitch shifted. They are all natural. Definitely a kick ass vocalist.
