I'm sat here in Pizza hut in Liverpool looking at a balloon and got to thinking of helium bubbles and what they would do, next thing I'm sat here watching this video :) good stuff.
I went to your show in Palmer last Wednesday. what can I say? you are a great Bubble Artist and an Awesome performer. You were great with the kids. Educational as well as funny!! hope to see another one of your shows. my daughter is only 8 months old so she wasn't really watching the show but i sure was! i have always been intrigued by bubbles and was greatly entertained but your show!
do you guys think it will work if use a ballon filled helium and the get a straw put the straw in the ballon and then dip the straw in soup and then make a ballon
Thank you for putting this amazing video up. For a project I was thinking about doing somewhat the same thing, (soap and helium for I wanted the bubbles to rise upwards) thinking it might be new... so I looked it up on the internet hahaha, and found your video. Great idea!
Keith, Positively one of my favorites of your bubble vids. Cool stuff! Gottah get more of my stuff up but I've got other business at hand for now. Always looking forward to your stuff. SBF been kinda quiet lately...Take Care Still Bubbling
Thanks. The air is never quite still enough at performance venues to pull something exactly like this off, however... their ceilings are usually much higher allowing for tricks I haven't yet been able to capture and post. I'll work on it. Thanks again. KMJ
nifty! where can I get a glass tube like that? I use fabric loops and my hands a lot. I like doing stuff like 'vibrating' the bubbles when it's dark and all you can see is the light on the surface...
The tubes are plastic but you can experiment with what ever you have around... cardboard works just fine. You've checked out Sterling Johnson's hand-bubbling work, yes?
I've seen that there are vids up, but haven't had the chance to check them out. Thanx for yer response to my comments. People have told me that I could do 'performance art' with my soap, but I've never believed them. Maybe it's because my solutions, or bubbles in general, are somewhat unpredictable...
hi guys!!
i was wondering what the thing in your hand that controls how fast the helium is dispensed is called?? thanks.x

What soap does create the most stable and biggest bubbles ?
flip886644 3 years ago
As a kid, I found that ivory dish soap had the best surfactants. There must be better soaps out there now.

@flip886644
P&G brands (Dawn & Joy) tend to have the best surfactants, strong but environmentally safe.
The new "Green" detergents deserve looking into but my tests aren't far along yet. Try them too.
Keith.
