I think it's weird they cast a FEMALE actress as the MALE Ranma. Wouldn't it have made more sense to have one actress play Ranma instead of having 2 women play him?

Well if you'd think of it rationally, you could understand by just watching the way it is now, how characters such as the Kuno's, never could tell the differnce between the "pig tailed girl" and "Ranma-darling".

If they were to share the same voice, don't you think that it would appeal as cliche to the viewers? Plus, with the popularity of voice acting today, I think it was nice of the directors to cast the part to two differnt women. ^^

To Fans: This Dub is NOT Richard Ian Cox. (Inu-Yasha) This is Sarah Strange. Sarah Strange is the Original Male Ranma Saotome, She left the show after Ranma 1/2 Season 3(Hard Battle) To persue an acting carrer outside of Anime.

Richard Ian Cox Took over from Season 4(Ouutta Control!) To Season 7(Ranma Forever) And Provided Ranma with the "Inuyasha" voice mentioned in an earlier post by someone.

Sarah Strange however DID Come back to do the OAV's in 1996 Long after the TV Series was done.
