They were in sight of the spawn points but not on the exact spawn points - the exact places you can sit and have the spawn instant aggro on you, etc etc, google tlpdresource.

(another post) i have seen him dead 3 times over 2 weeks, 5days apart or so. Vyragosa spawns every 6-18h. Dirkee once every 1-2 days, Skoll maybe every 2-3 days.

why are so many people commenting on the music? lol fail, listen to the lyrics 'i always get the things i want' he is probs just pleased he got his drake cause its what he wanted, go find your own drake, make a movie and put some 'GOOD' music on it if you have such a problem with it, kthx, and good movie, should be very helpful when i start searching for the drake again tomorrow :)

No he did not spawn there, he only spawns on the 4 places shown on the map. I move the camera around enough that you should be able to figure out where I'm at if you care enough. Sorry I couldn't show it on the map, I don't have any editing software.

His name is Skoll. Rare spawn on a 6-18 spawn-timer I think up in storm peaks.

Just search him on Wowhead.com and you'll find spawnpoints. I've killed him once before. He actually spawns at the same location as this dude killed TLPD. It's one of them at least.

@Sempr0m technically it's called _npcScan (underscore is important). Very much worth mentioning that there's a second addon called _npcScan Overlay. Excellent mod that marks areas and paths that rares travel (added benefit is that you can also see the paths on your minimap which the mod RareSpawnOverlay doesn't have. It's also far more accurate and specific than RareSpawnOverlay. Two must-have mods if you're serious about hunting rares.
