Tate's narrowing his choice to transfer to Hawaii or San Jose State. He's strongly considering Hawaii which is a good choice knowing Hawaii will be moving to a better conferance and Bryant Moniz is a senior.

Like Pryor and Mallet, he won't be playing at Michigan. Pryor and Mallet are both heisman candidates this year. I suspect tate will be one at whatever school he goes to. Good QB's just don't want to play for gimmicky spread offences. It doesn't prepare you for the NFL and it makes your team go 1-7 in the big10.

Robinson isn't even that good. Forcier was hurt during the Indiana game, with a shoulder injury, so thats why he wasn't playing as well. Gardner is commited to Michigan though, so we'll see how he does. By the way, I love Michigan, but Rich needs to go. He's ruining tradition and is not a good coach at all.

michigan is awful. terrible. im not a michigan hater but they have been for the past few years. you are a dynasty in college football and you allways get top 10 recruiting classes and yet somehow you cant win games. you had such an easy schedule this year and yet you didnt make a bowl game.
UM only has a handful of four star or five star guys left from the 05-07 classes. They are young and not deep (3/4ths frosh and sophs). Most of the blue chips on the team are young. Plus the had the toughest skid of any Big Ten team. they were bad this year but they aren't as talented right now as you might think. Its going to be two years before they have a shot at any type of BCS game AT LEAST because they are so young. But b/c they are young they will only get better.
big part in why michigan has been bad the past two season lloyd carrs recruiting classes started to get lamer and lamer started to be very thin they would go get a couple good players than just hand out scholarships to kids that had good reputations at the schols they often recruited at they always went for kids who were locks or leans never made a huge move to sway a recruit are recruiting classes got weaker and weaker this years class will be very strong and DEEP and deep is what we need

Forcier did not have Beenie Wells nor did he have james laurinitis or malcolm jenkins or a stud offensive line, or brian hartline or ray small and he still looked better than Pryor in his freshman and sophmore year.

He had a higher QB rating and a better completion percentage most of the year compared to that joke QB from OSU. Forcier has the accuracy, and the quick footspeed to develop into a great QB. You cant be a Qb at a big time program and have small hands. His hands are soo small and thats why he has problems hanging on to the ball. Devin Gardner will be the real deal maybe not in year 1 but his pedegree is second to none on Michigan's roster
What the hell do hands sizes have to do with anything. You guys can't say that Tate should get benched because he didn't have a good game against OSU. He has WAY better mechanics than Gardner, and Tate will improve over the offseason. He can throw the ball a long way, and has nice touch. He'll improve.
Yeah they are just retarded trolls, Forcier just holds the ball wrong (too low) is why he fumbles easily. Gardner doesn't have a snowballs chance of coming in and starting immediately IMO. Much like Pryor he'd be better off red-shirting. Tate's accuracy in fitiing the ball in a tight spot is very good, and he is the starter regardless. If anybody truly challenges him for the starting role it will be in 2011, and Shoelcae could do it.
I think these are the things that RR needs to do by the 2010 season
1. Fire Greg Robinson, and get a new D-Coordinator.
2. Move Denard Robinson to Wide Out, but still give him reps at QB as the backup this year. He's got great speed and height, and he could be a very good WR and kick returner.
3. Redshirt Devin Gardner. Gardner is huge and has a good arm and speed. He definently needs to redshirt though, because he needs to work on mechanics and learning the offense.

Hey if you read every comment I made on this video recently. I said Troy was an excellent player, just not until his third year out of High School. My point was you can't say Tate is really a horrible QB, when Troy Smith for example, who won a freakin Heisman was moved to RB early in his career. It wasn't until his third year until he was a true QB. He was great, so don't say Tate is horrible. We have limited evidence on Tate and hes still a frosh. Most of them get better. That was my point.

As far as recruiting goes, Michigan had a top 10 class in 2009 during a 3-9 season. They are projected to have a top 15 class this year during what is probably going to be a 5-7 season. Ask Notre Dame about recruiting in the face of adversity. They suck and still get blue chips so that blows that theory up. Do you know how many freshman are starting in 2009? Five FBS QBS are starting and none has played better than Forcier. This QB class was exceptional BTW! Probably behind him as a passer. When Troy Smith was a 5th year senior he won a heisman. His fifth year out of HS and his fourth year on the field. When he was a true frosh his passing was about as bad as Denard Robinson so he was moved to running back for a short time for his speed.

There is no doubt that Pryor was a great highschool player, but this is divison 1 college football which is much faster and a whole lot more advanced. Pryor had a decent freshman season because he had the help from Beanie Wells running the football, and Brian Robiskie and Hartline on the recieving end. Like Pryor and Mallet, he won't be playing at Michigan. Pryor and Mallet are both heisman candidates this year. I suspect tate will be one at whatever school he goes to. Good QB's just don't want to play for gimmicky spread offences. It doesn't prepare you for the NFL and it makes your team go 1-7 in the big10.

Robinson isn't even that good. Forcier was hurt during the Indiana game, with a shoulder injury, so thats why he wasn't playing as well. Gardner is commited to Michigan though, so we'll see how he does. By the way, I love Michigan, but Rich needs to go. He's ruining tradition and is not a good coach at all.

UM only has a handful of four star or five star guys left from the 05-07 classes. They are young and not deep (3/4ths frosh and sophs). Most of the blue chips on the team are young. Plus the had the toughest skid of any Big Ten team. they were bad this year but they aren't as talented right now as you might think. Its going to be two years before they have a shot at any type of BCS game AT LEAST because they are so young. But b/c they are young they will only get better.

big part in why michigan has been bad the past two season lloyd carrs recruiting classes started to get lamer and lamer started to be very thin they would go get a couple good players than just hand out scholarships to kids that had good reputations at the schols they often recruited at they always went for kids who were locks or leans never made a huge move to sway a recruit are recruiting classes got weaker and weaker this years class will be very strong and DEEP and deep is what we need

Forcier did not have Beenie Wells nor did he have james laurinitis or malcolm jenkins or a stud offensive line, or brian hartline or ray small and he still looked better than Pryor in his freshman and sophmore year.

Are Ohio State fans really come on here and talking shit about Tate Forcier? Through out the course of the 09 season, Forcier had better passing stats then Pryor had! He had a higher QB rating and a better completion percentage most of the year compared to that joke QB from OSU. Forcier has the accuracy, and the quick footspeed to develop into a great QB. Yeah they are just retarded trolls, Forcier just holds the ball wrong (too low) is why he fumbles easily. Gardner doesn't have a snowballs chance of coming in and starting immediately IMO. Much like Pryor he'd be better off red-shirting. Tate's accuracy in fitiing the ball in a tight spot is very good, and he is the starter regardless. If anybody truly challenges him for the starting role it will be in 2011, and Shoelcae could do it.

I think these are the things that RR needs to do by the 2010 season
1. Fire Greg Robinson, and get a new D-Coordinator.
2. Move Denard Robinson to Wide Out, but still give him reps at QB as the backup this year. He's got great speed and height, and he could be a very good WR and kick returner.
3. Redshirt Devin Gardner. Gardner is huge and has a good arm and speed. He definently needs to redshirt though, because he needs to work on mechanics and learning the offense.

Hey if you read every comment I made on this video recently. I said Troy was an excellent player, just not until his third year out of High School. My point was you can't say Tate is really a horrible QB, when Troy Smith for example, who won a freakin Heisman was moved to RB early in his career. It wasn't until his third year until he was a true QB. He was great, so don't say Tate is horrible. We have limited evidence on Tate and hes still a frosh. Most of them get better. That was my point.

As far as recruiting goes, Michigan had a top 10 class in 2009 during a 3-9 season. They are projected to have a top 15 class this year during what is probably going to be a 5-7 season. Ask Notre Dame about recruiting in the face of adversity. They suck and still get blue chips so that blows that theory up. I am not saying it can't eventually hurt recruting, but that wont happen until tate is a senior because its Michigan. The name sells itself unlike Illinois. Anything unclear "pumpkin"???

As far as Michigan not getting better, again you are showing your idealism. 75 % of the kids on scholarship are underclassmen. I'm not sure RR is a very good coach, but he is playing with a lot of young guys. That matters! Do you think you could play college ball right now, or even as a freshman just because you play HS fball? You'd get killed. I don't have to see you play to know it, it's just the facts. Michigan had seven new starters on defense this year. They have 9 next year, That matters.

Go examine true freshman QBS over the last decade of college football. You will see that few have truly left Tate in their dust, and that is a select group to compare from. More have been on losing teams than winning teams. Some of the best QBS weren't ready to step in right away. Am I saying Forcier is going to be AWESOME and win the Heisman and national titles? No! It's too soon to throw those labels on him. However, you are dismissing him as "horrible" which is far from accurate given his age

Do you know how many freshman are starting in 2009? Five FBS QBS are starting and none has played better than Forcier. This QB class was exceptional BTW! It's rare to see more than a few true freshman start at this level for a reason. They usually can't usually optimize their talent yet. There are 114 teams in the FBS that don't start true freshman for a reason. Troy Smith couldn't have held TF's jock as a frosh and he won a heisman. You can't truly judge a guys limits by his frosh yr

Not true. There are 11 players on both sides of the ball, it isn't Forcier's fault Michigan has lost six games and only won five. They would be 3-8 right now AT BEST without him. He has already led three fourth quarter comebacks. His teams defense sucks and all his best skill players are underclassmen. The coaching has been questionable also.

They will almost definitely get more wins in 2010 as they return almost their entire two deep. They will most likely win the Purdue/Iowa/MSU type games that are close. Terrelle Pryor doesn't need to pass more then 67 yards, when Tate Forcier turns the ball over 5 times. I sure Troy Smith would of done better then 5-7 when he was a freshmen. You can't compare Forcier to Smith until, Tate Forcier leads he's team to 2 BCS bowl(including the National Champ game) and he wins the heisman.

Smith wasn't a true frosh and didn't start at QB until the end of his redshirt sophomore year. It was the END of his third year. Even then he was primarily a running threat like Pryor. Probably behind him as a passer. When Troy Smith was a 5th year senior he won a heisman. His fifth year out of HS and his fourth year on the field. When he was a true frosh his passing was about as bad as Denard Robinson so he was moved to running back for a short time for his speed.

forcier good? ill give it to him that he is alright. not nearly as good as pryor. who took his team to a bowl game his freshman year. forcier cant even beat illinois. who dominated illinios i would say ohio state. and forcier got dominated by one of the worst teams in the Big 10. forcier isnt good. he is alright. was forcier the top recruit in the country like pryor was this year. ya will never be as good as pryor.

There is no doubt that Pryor was a great highschool player, but this is divison 1 college football which is much faster and a whole lot more advanced. Pryor had a decent freshman season because he had the help from Beanie Wells running the football, and Brian Robiskie and Hartline on the recieving end. This year, he is throwing interceptions like crazy. Clearly NOT heisman material. Yeah he can run the ball, but that doesn't make him a quarterback. He should probably just switch to WR

And also, he only has a 54% completion ratio which if you ask me, doesn't really make you all that great of a quarterback. Only 13 touchdowns to 9 interceptions, and probably several more interceptions to come if he keeps on throwing the ball like he does. The numbers don't lie either, Forcier has a higher completion percentage and a higher QB rating than Pryor does. Come on now man save all that Suckeye bullshit for a Ohio State video or something

what the funny thing is is that terrelle pryor had more wins in his freshman year than tate forcier. and why would pryor have over 200 yards passing when he is more of a scrambling QB. i do think that pryor needs to learn how to throw better.
