@CumminClouds Yea man I'm loving. I got 33's on with stock steel wheels and i"m getting 17 in town. pretty good. i like to hotrod around too man.

For parts, well I work at NAPA so I buy alot of brake/suspension parts and anything i need from there. and sometimes from rockauto.com

For performance stuff, there's DennyTperformance, diesel auto power, DNR customs, and Diamond eye makes 4" turbo back exhaust kits for only $275 free shipping! downpipe and all is 4 inch-

@Shano2224 For 8000 it should be in absolutel perfect condition mechanically and cosmetically. that's not really a good deal but it's the going price for a cherry one

@RanchhandTCR I didnt think 1st gens had that big of a problem with the kdp, I always thought 2nd gen 12v's were the real buggers.

@TheNeckasaurus all 12 valves have that problem, the front cover is different from the first gena and second because of change from rotary injection pump to the piston pump. It very unlikly it will destroy your truck!! but the it can destroy the gears in the front and put a hole in what ever it decides to go thru. I have yet to see one that made a mess of the gears but I have found them sittin in the oil pan.

@tgredneck Cheaper if you ask me since the only thing you have to do to it is Oil change and fuel filter. Nothing goes wrong on these engines.
