  • When the run just doesn't seem that fast, it's usually caused by one of two things:

    1) The run was actually slower than January Molasses

    2) The run was that darn smooth and stupidly fast.

Yeah, definitely number 2 here. Great job to Mike and all the Terps Racing folk>

P.S. So is one glove is the secret....will need to remember that for 2012...

  • Does this car have 13" wheels in the rear and 10" in the front? Looks like it can go WOT for 80% of the track, wow.

  • @Weberseon Yes, its running Hoosier R25B - 7.5"x10" in the front and 9"x13" in the rear - because Racecar.

High drag + low power = lots of WOT

  • how many runs did the tires have? I see a lot of degridation

  • @miataguy94

These tires had 11 runs on them before this one. The degridation is OPR; at the end of nationals we drove away with more rubber on the tires than what came with them!

  • Exceptional in every way. Your school should be proud of your team and what you have accomplished!

  • That is AMAZING grip. You guys have built a fantastic car, and drive it VERY well. Nice job.
