  • Vukota got lucky He was a cheap dirty player... Of course i'm a Blackhawk fan

  • nice shot mick

  • wow!!! Secord got filled in....lol!!!

  • Quick TKO-win M.Vukota.

  • I love Mick.....

  • Did Mick plant one on Secord? Statement by the anoouncer pretty much says it all.

  • Never liked Secord, especially when he was a Bruin, but he was WELL past his prime by this time and this was Vukota's second NHL season.

  • Secord was never in his prime. He always got his ass handed to him. This is why he would always hug and not throw blows. I think the only fight he ever won was when he went into the stands and you could have given the decision to the fan.

  • Then you don't remember the man, because he did not get his head handed to him. The guy could fight and he was one of the tougher ones in the late 1970's, early 80's.

  • I remember him well. Who did he beat. not Probert, not Gilles, not Vukota etc.

  • You obviously don't, because Probert and Vukota came into the league after Secords knuckles were chewed up from having to fight the Flyers and Isles all the time.

Secord lived through the 1970s and survived. Who did he beat? Enough to last into the late 1980's.

  • @alanbrenthatten ......Secord had 3 seasons with 40+ goals and scored 54 in the 82/83 season. Do your math you fucking little girl.

  • @rjst09 Why are you talking to a little girl?...

  • @alanbrenthatten I have to agree with you. Maybe Secord did fight a lot but he lost a lot and usually put his head on the guys shoulder and wouldn't swing. You can fight all you want but not many guys win far more than they lose, and Secord was a guy who was a boring clutch and grab fighter and lost a lot. Vukota wasn't much better though. He was mister "land a quick shot and calf rope you". I never liked Vukota. If I want to see his act I'll watch the WWE or the BJJ world championships.

  • does anyone have the complete game broadcast of this game. i'd love to have it personally.

  • comparing Vukota to Secord is pointless. Not in the same class, Vukota was worthless

  • Vukota was one of those players that you had to remind him to grab his stick when he went on his shift.

  • @goonery29 hah!

  • Vukota was, no doubt, a pure goon, whereas Secord was a pretty good hockey player first and foremost. This, however, doesn´t take away from the fact that Secord got pasted here.

  • Yes he did. But no one goes undefeated. Just like Micky. He barely played 10 years and his highest total in goals in a year was 4, never broke the 300 pims and I don't remember any memorable scraps he had against the likes of Probert, Brown etc. Like I said noooo comparison.

  • Let's see here... Al Secord played over ten years. Had a 54 goal season, a 44 goal season, a 2 time All Star and was one of only 3 memebers of the 30/300 club, over 30 goals and 300 PIM in a season. Other members are R. Tochett and Tiger Williams. Probert missed by 2 goals. He fought everyone. Mick never scored or did anything. He is best known for jumping the born again christain NY Ranger. He is a forgotten goon. No comparison.

  • Except that Vukota kicked his ass here.

  • @secordgoon

    hi skippy............lol

  • Secord was 8 and a half years old and past his prime here.

  • Al Secord was tough. This video doesnt show it though. Can you believe he is a pilot for American Airlines now?

  • i no

  • you mean if he doesn't get a raise he will head-butt the pilot, beat up a stewardess and try to wrestlec an old lady to the floor?

  • Al Secord.......punk

  • They both sucked

  • what a pu**y secord is

  • you'd think he'd know when to call it quits

you don't save face by hanging on when the refs come in

  • wow-that was alot of penalty mins and alot of fighting that they were talking about-wouldnt hurt the hawks to bring back more toughness though

  • I remember this one, and yeah Secord got humiliated and on home ice.

  • the good old days

  • Secord is a punk. He loses the fight, and then hits a ref. Real winner there.

  • he wasnt trying to hit the ref you friggin donkey. hell, Terry OReiley intentionally punched Andy Van Hellemond, and he was far from a punk.

  • oreilly was a punk!...youadmit he hit a ref...how stupid...thnat's like saying other than the one person he murdered he was a law-biding citizen...As SS - HOOOLE!

  • Hey moron-Al was so much better a player than Vuckota it isnt funny

  • Secord got kicked in the head!

  • Secord had more goals by December 1st than that talentless goon Vuckota would net in an entire season. Grow a pair you 48 year old jackass

  • Al was dangerous though. He punished Dave Richter and Dave was one of the only guys to ever get the upper hand on Joey Kocur, though Dave basically jumped Kocur in that one. Later in the game after Al opened up Dave, the great Willi Plett tried to get at him.

  • Good to see this, Secord Sucks was the chant when they came to the barn when I was a youngster

  • when you came to the barn???what are you,a farm animal?or what???

  • Secord got embarassed on this one.
