USC is a great team but the pac-10 is NOT the best conference, the SEC IS.Its easy to win a conference 5 straight years when the only other great team is oregon.Besides USC nobody else in the pac-10 makes it to a bcs bowl game or finishes top 5.The SEC is way better, all but 3 teams made it to a bowl game,2 bcs bowl teams that won georgia and lsu.LSU and Georgia would own USC, no question.The worst team in the sec would kill the pac-10's worst team.

East Coast bias? Hardly. I'm from Texas - The same Texas which sent one of its schools to beat usc in the national championship. Like most southern states, Texas is naturally prone to producing top-notch football programs. SC might be good, but it is laughable to propose that the weak-10 schedule they play comes anywhere NEAR the strength of the SEC.

If you guys knew jack shit about college football you would know usc is #1.Every year we have a close game on the road..in 2005 (when we crushed OK 55-19),we almost lost to CAL, and UCLA,and Oregon state.But when it comes to the big game,Pete doesn't dissapoint. Every year we loose coaches (Norm chow,Lane kiffin),and yet we still continue to be one of the best teams in the land.You guys can dis the pac-10,but i would take The top 3 pac 10 teams against the top 3 SEC teams anyday.

You obviously don't know CFB, because if you put LSU on the field with USC, the LifeStyles lose by at least 10, and if you put Cal on the field with UF, the Yellow Cubs lose by 8 at least, and let's put Oregon on the field with Kentucky this year, and they are even the 3rd best team in the SEC, they win the game.

Every year,usc has struggled to win a pac 10 game on the road.,if yu knew anything about the team you are trying to dis,you would know that.how ever,there is no coach in college football who is better at prepairing for bowl games then pete carrol.we lost two games last year both two unrated teams on the road,then we destroyed michigan in the rose bowl.And as i recall we beat #1 rated aubern at jordan hair stadium to open up 2003.then we beat arkansas last year.
