@Ricky21537 yep, it's 9/8, in the verse you should count'em in 3 groups of 3 8th notes for voice and bass guitar, while, for the drums and guitar they're like 9/8 binary tempo, so like 4/4 + 1/8... for the chorus the first half is comfortable as 4/4+1/8 and the second part is again 3x3/8. This song is pure genius.... as a lot of others..... if you enjoy this stuff, listen well to Lateralus, Schism and Forty six & 2 ... wow.

My friend liked it, but of course most tool fans have this feeling of "higher being" at Tool concerts, as Maynard is so fucking wasted on acid that he doesn't even realize he's playing a concert and basically just whines random sentences that fans somehow consider deep. Fans like him also like to think that the lyrics have a deep spiritual meaning only they can comprehend, which is hilariously pathetic.

@AndyAgony I don't think it's my "soundcard". This is definitely in no way a "good sound". At least not for someone who is not only knowing the sound of an iPod. But how could a youtube-video with all the compression have a good sound anyway? There is no bass, there are no highs, it's all just a muddy mid sound without pressure. Vote me down for not praising the sound. The band is fantastic, but the recording is a pain in the ear!

completely agree, i've got this running through decent monitors and it still 'sounds' mediocre. word to the wise; there is a difference between being at the gig and how GOOD it would have SOUNDed, and hearing it replicated by a cheap CAMERA on YOUTUBE. if you cannot understand my implications then vote down to make yourself feel better. that said, the light show/performance is still nice. it always is. wtb a properly dubbed live DVD so we can all live in harmony.
