  • Man you handle that bag very well man, check out my most recent bag video, I need a big bag like you though!

  • Nice video man, check out my video i POSTed last week!

  • try & follow up more after the jab.. like double jab den straight.. beast combo-- lol

  • pivot more on that left and right hook

  • Good bag work!

  • Is it too late to start at 25? I already know quite a bit about the basics, and used to practice on-off a couple of years ago. What do you think? It's just something I want to be decent at, as a hobby (and for help with self defence). Anyone?

  • yeah limp bity

  • speed power nice!

  • man u r awesome!!!! great work! well i just started this sweet science and im lovin it. its a lil to late for me since im already 24 but i do have some serious tools to work with. i understand that everything starts from the feet. any tips on gettin a little rythm and soul into these whiteboy feet of mine??? thanks

  • hey what weight heavy bag is that?

  • I GOT A QUESTION I GOT A BAG AND I FOUND OUTS ITS ONLY 30 PDS IM 153 AND LIKE 6FT WILL IT HELP ME GAIN POWER? NE1?

  • i think you have good speed and punching power and i wouldnt mind if you agreed to use some of that on my chin as you are punching my lights out. one good uppercut shot to my chin and i should fall unconscious at your feet.

  • I love watching this you got so much speed and power

  • Good stuff man!

  • good boxing starts in the legs, good fighting starts in the legs and feet. You have some big problems with your feet. Your fighting on your toes, loosing power and your leaning your head foward, dropping your hands. You can see it couse you keep almost falling fowards, but when you start to fall foward you move around to gather your balance, also I saw your forehead bumpimg up against the bag. Practice refining your skills, you do have skills but its sloppy.

  • pretty decent mate, boxing is too much of a sport for me tho; no knees, no elbows, and really think gloves. well thats just me. best thing about boxing is the specialty in your hands which is really good, but limited since in a real fight i'd rather do something more damaging than jab.

  • great left hook and foot work man..good stuff

  • Good video I cant find anything to say, you moved your head you didn't throw arm punches you didn't throw real wide punches you kept good form you obviously got good stamina. I guess only your trainer would be able to criticize anything you did wrong being he would have you working on a particular thing. I would maybe tell you to keep your left hand up a little higher but I give you an A, I liked this vid.

  • No MMA love.....ha

  • very good...plenty of sting and speed in your punches...keep elbows in and tuck your chin in and you will go far

  • I like this video very motivating. How would you compare a water heavybag to a standard one? Will you ever go back to a normal heavybag?

  • do you fight inside? great pop dude. I wish I had your hooks. You dont need to work them you got those down. If I were you I would just work str8 combos like 1-2-1 or 1-2-1-2 roll back 2. then roll back or angle and move. Elbows in on the str8 punches. Good drill is to stand against wall and throw your rear cross. The wall will make your elbow stay tight and str8.

  • Of all the heavy bag vids I seen this one is one of the crispest. Punches come thick and fast, thrown from the whole body and at a blistering pace. Solid stamina and quick feet as well. keep it up brother.

  • Great speed and power. I hit the heavy bag almost every day but there are days where i shadow box the same amount of rounds that i would do on a heavy bag. 10-12 rounds. It looks like when you get tired your left hand starts coming down and it looks like you start poppin the jab from your chest area. I found out that when i shadow box with 2-5 pds weight i feel stronger when i hit the bag and i keep my hands high for longer periods of time. other than tha great job....

  • why aren't you doing matches bro? I think you can go pretty big with your boxing skills

  • I'd like to see some front kicks, side kicks and round kicks to really make this exciting. The only thing is that you will get very tired when you use kicks, I do.

It is a different story when you use kickboxing and grappling with the bag. It really makes you tired. But you can get used to it. I am 52 and I still do it to stay in shape and it keeps me solid and functional.

  • Good job

clean up the L hook to the body....you are a little open when you throw it

  • Actually really good, better than most on youtube

  • thanks for posting this. good inspiration.

  • hey man good video i just recently started the heavy bag.. did you take boxing classes? or did you learn on your own?

  • Dude! You're VERY fast! Great technique, great power, great form, great footwork! I don't honestly know what's stopping you from taking a more serious chance on a boxing career. From your video description, you make yourself sound like more of a journeyman, but you have the best attributes I've seen on a youtube bag workout in a while, and I watch a lot of them. On a side note, I would really appreciate some advice on my heavy bag video from somebody who CLEARLY knows what they're doing.

  • @GeetarAdam

i agree he has good power, speed, head movement, footwork, very impressive

  • Dude has to breathe when he punches the bag...he got tired way too easily. exhale when you throw the punch...don't hold your breathe man.

  • Decent power but you need to work on your speed. I could easily and effortlessly unload a 1-second 5-punch combination on you, despite your "power."

Where do you live? I challenge you. Let's spar.

  • Fuck yea, youve got the Hands of a God. good shit man

  • @bshpjohnson I'm better.

  • Good job, by throwing combo's like your doing, with good foot work and head movement makes for a good boxer. Good job bud keep it up.

  • good stuff, looking good...better than alot of heavy bag videos ive seen!!

  • Boxing is no joke, if you can last 12 rounds boxing man you a warrior knight ninja. It takes some serious conditioning levels to even last a good 3 action packed rounds in boxing.

  • This guy knows what he is doing. See the heavy bag hardly moves. That is how to hit a bag. You see all these bone heads that go to a gym and swing the bag. This guy is hitting it properly. Very nice.

  • @miocynar I had my teacher telling me this when I was on the maize bag, but I didnt really get it.. is it that youre supposed to hit it when it comes back to you?

  • @miocynar that is true but when the bag does move (which it willl), he should throw a jab at it when it comes back to stop it from moving. he is rlly good tho

  • @TSxBox One thing I will say is, he keeps his hands a little low...especially his left. seems to be throwing his jab when his arm is almost down to his waiste. I do like how he hits the bag though because it's not swinging much.

  • @miocynar Lol Ali used to swing the bag too don't worry, theres nothing wrong with it.

  • @checklefthook I don't think you know what i meant. Some guys punch the bag and it swints because they are pushing their punch...do you understand? I purposely push the bag with my two hands to and when it is on its way back, I side step and throw a hook to the body and then one to the head. Some boneheads push their punches...usually big muscular guys who can't punch worth a shit.

  • @miocynar Lol my bad. For sure, he is no arm puncher he turns into those shots really well. He's pretty good eh

  • @checklefthook he is pretty good but he needs to breathe and not hold his breath when he punches...he seems to have gotten tired pretty fast. nice power though.

  • Hey if you ever got a moment check out my channel and look at my heavy bag vids. You're awesome hitting it, way better than I am. I'm trying to figure out how you move so easily to the right while punching.

  • shit u got some serious power i feel bad for the "thug" that comes across that Lol

  • Good to see some nice bag work, have a look at my heavy bag video...thumbs up!

  • Damn you punch like a motherfucker!

  • For hanging the bag what did you do ? I bolt through a 4x4 between joists?

  • hey, if i wanted to shed fat fast, what kind of stuff should i be doing on the heavy bag? thanks im looking forward to ur reply

  • @antitobaccopsa Punch out drills. You can google them but the concept is you punch for the entire 2 or 3 minute round. I always threw straights (jab, right) for 30 seconds, hooks for 30 seconds, uppercuts for 30 seconds and finished out with "box it out" for 30 seconds. Boxing it out is really mixing it up, throw combos move your head and pivot, just combine all aspects of boxing. If your not so much into the boxing (sweet science) just keep the pace high and finish strong.

  • @anilat3r thx man

  • Its Steve Fox

  • Great work man, Great footwork, great defense, and a steady offense. Your training seems to have really paid off. Keep it up.

  • You seem to hit really hard and fast! Nice snap in your punches too.

  • bro your real fast

  • hi man, this is great for being self taught. great uppercuts to the body, fast hands, great head movement- you're definitely a natural. your right hand needs to be strapped to the chin when you're jabbing though, also work on your range with the straight right, i only saw close range ones. maybe need to work on range in general and keeping your hands going from a straight line from your chin to face height on the bag. i hope you take this positively!

  • 0:16 - 0:35 awesome punches dude, gz ;)

  • Hey im wondering what kind of heavy bad workout should i do? And speedbag? Also the video on my profile is very old b4 i started training so please dont base your opinions off that! Thank u.

  • @7777Eagles7777 It really depends on what you want to get out of it. Punching power? Movement? Fluency in your combinations? Endurance? Too many people just smash on the heavy bag with no goal, which is a terrible mistake and quite frankly a waste of time. There is no single right method, except the one that applies directly to what your goal of that specific heavy bag session.

  • @anilat3r hehe i am fucking impressed. Great speed and power- those jabs hit like train :D I have a question that is related to the comment above. I lost weight last years and i want it back, so i consider going to the gym, yea but i dont want to get all stiff. What is more i want to increase punch power and endurance, these r my main goals. ANy advise would be wellcome ty..and have a Merry Xmass since it's so close now :)

  • @anilat3r random hitting on the bag still gets ur body conditioned to punching something that hard constantly...but I get your point dont wanna troll u lol

  • damn i think you killed that heavy bad 5 times over.

  • nice, good power. i like to get on the inside a bit more when i hit the heavy bag, that's where you generate some serious power. i hit the heavy bag every day, for about an hour to two hours, huge difference between hitting it everyday and every other day. also, this is off topic but what kind of car is that in the background?

  • @sk8forlife90 thanks for the feedback. The car in the background is a Chrysler Cirrus early 2000 if I remember correctly. It is my dads car, it ran great at the time, as of the past 6 months its parked with a fuel supply issue. It has served its time and probably headed toward the grave yard.

  • @sk8forlife90 its better when ur inside if u have shorter arms than ur oponnent because they will have less punchin space

  • @ReyTheKiing it's also better to be on the inside because you generate more power their. when your hitting the bag with the last couple of inches of your reach then you really arn't generating power because that's the end of the line. same thing as if you were bench pressing, you wouldn't get very strong if you only pushed the bar off the rack or went down a few inches then back up. back to the punching bag, you want to punch through the target so you want to be close to the bag.

  • Sweet video, I use this for ideas and inspiration.

  • Would weight-training slow my punches down?

  • @AznSupaStar14 yes stay lean do stuff like push ups or pull ups. Or use lighter weights

  • man you gotta lower that bag a little bit

  • @iamjsmith83 He doesn't really need to..Pending the circumstances, I think its at a fine height for boxing!!

  • feel free to take it however but you should practice keeping your elbows tucked , especially when you jab

  • you like the water bag?

  • @boxinggramm Very much yes.

  • great fighter!

  • Can you do boxing or shadowboxing everyday or do you need to rest. plz pst me

  • @viyark Absolutely you can do boxing and/or shadowboxing every day. However, if you are feeling very sore or worn down take a day or two rest. Its more aerobic of an exercise then it is anaerobic and it is not tearing down your muscles so much, but that sort of depends on how hard your training days are and what shape your body is in.

  • what ounce gloves should you get if your a beginner with a heavy bag?

  • @WitnessMELOx15 Starting out with a pair of standard 12 ounce or bouncing up to 14 ounce would be a good start. A pair of 16 ounce gloves can be handy for tickling a little speed out of your hands, and even for improving your punching power.

  • @anilat3r thanks man

  • how heavy is that bag?

  • @coolgenie1 140 lbs

  • @WitnessMELOx15 damn, u got some power, how much u weight?

  • 150lbs now, was about 140 145lbs then

  • Question, how much do you weigh now and how much did you weigh when making this vid?

  • @anilat3r hey great job tons of power there... do you feel you made any progress on speed and power (at least on small amount) since the first time you start training over the years? cause i heard punchers are born i agree with that though i was wandering if you made any progress at all or have you always hit with the exact same speed and power

  • @rucula2 My short answer is yes I have made power and speed gains. I agree there is an intrinsic level of ability in each individual. I believe that ability can be built upon, it may be marginal. Anyone that claims an average Joe that starts doing any physical activity repetitively can not make performance gains is nothing beyond a fool and a liar. I have always had a level of natural punching power and some speed, but I most certainly have been able to improve both to a certain level.

  • @anilat3r thanks for answering so shortly.. havent trained for 2 years now i gotta get back to the gym thanks for the advice

  • Not bad! Try not to get so square when taking angles and moving around.

  • @ThePrototype20x6 Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, lately been doing more shadowboxing in the mirror to work on those sorts of things.

  • it is not heavy bag

  • @zccccccc Hrm, 140lbs, heavier than most, but I've seen and hit much heavier. I think there is a value in both anyway. If you only hit a bag you can't get moving good you don't practice movement enough. With the opposiite you can't develop the same power.

  • @anilat3r Professionals training and faster and harder punches.

Find George Foreman when he hit heavy bag.

Any way bravo !!! Keep training !! Maby you world champion in future. Who knows...

  • On my video heavy bag weight 80kg = it is 180 lbs

  • On my video heavy bag weight 80kg = it is 180 lbs

  • Homos, I use 400lb sandbag by filling a bag and sealing it with 400lbs of sand from the beach and I can move it around even knock it down. My female friend can also punch like a brack as well.

This fellow here is just what you call a pussy.

  • @AndyHarglesis Whats wrong with you kids these days, oh thats right its the flouride and chlorine in the water, the manufactured food and bullshit T.V. poisoning your minds.

No wonder your all stupid and lost.

  • @AndyHarglesis i hit a 500 lb heavy bag bro and i was able to break it in half by flicking it with my pinkie finger and it wasn't filled with sand, it was filled with rocks and broken glass. pussy i'll do the same thing to you. i just have to tell my fairy maids let my flying pigs out for a stroll first then count my millions of dollars i made by posting stupid comments like yours. but yeah have fun with your little 400 lb bag and let the real men do the talking. 400 lbs. pffft, that's nothing.

  • @AndyHarglesis

child please. i train with a 4 million pound heavy bag filled with your female friends pussy used tampons.

  • @kbb28 That's just ungrateful and lewd.

  • Only weaklings use heavy bags... Use the 400lb sandbags.

  • @AndyHarglesis i use a 500 lb bag filled with shards of broken glass and rocks pussy. your 400lb bag is a pathetic cry for attention. sand? did you get a set of tampons to come with that bag? get a real bag and then talk.

  • @brandeezy108 Implying that women are weaker and lesser than males, of course.

Sexist fuckface cunt. Don't talk to me, you'll never be at my level.

  • @AndyHarglesis so now i'm the bad guy? you're the one with a little 400 lb bag and saying other people are weaklings. i like how fast you change the topic from heavy bags to sexism. and i'll never be at your level? you're right! i'll never be THAT low. your a fucking hypocrite. calling people weaklings on youtube but acting like your the victim of sexism. i'm not saying ALL women are weaker than men. but it IS a fact that men are GENERALLY stronger than women.

  • i was expecting something bad... but damn man you got it good

  • damn

  • very good punching technique and handspeed, footwork and stance is also spot on. my only criticism would be that your right hand should be closer to your chin while throwing the left, rather than at the side of your head because you will get tagged as soon as your opponent counters you.

  • I wouldn't take that left hook to the body is someone paid me man..

  • fuck you, i wouldnt fight you even if i had too,are you a pro? looks so painfull kkkk

  • Man I want my punches to be that good

  • NICE PUNCHING MAN! You have a very strong jab and cross. BTW when in fighting you should square up a little more. Your hooks are also nice but could be improved. When you throw your hooks, try stepping into the bag. You will get a lot more power and speed from this. Hope someone can train you!

  • check my video of me punching a heavy bag off! its pretty sick

  • This fuckin kids GREAT !

    Awesome form bud!

  • MY GOD HE CAN PUNCH HARD!

  • Hi mister. Yes, I'm no expert but I just started training in Plymouth which is in England. My club is very good and in both boxing lessons I had the trainers liked me too keep my hands up close to my head. OK , I have only had two boxing lessons for English boxing but hope you find this usefull feedback. I been boxing other styles longer though. Keep up the good work, you look in great shape. That bag looks real great. My hands still hurt from my first English boxing session 2 weeks ago. :)

  • ok cant post vid response, check out my page jasperzoe and look at my straight punches.

  • Love the way you dig on the hooks dude, your straight punched need work. Focus on them. I will post a vid response, I am opposite of you, my hooks need work. The jab is 75 % of the game if not more, you set everything up off of it. Work the jab til you master it , then you will be able to crush with those hooks

  • Well done. Great training and thanks for showing me a water heavy bag it looks a fantastic workout.

  • Don't let your jab get lazy punches should be like a piston out and right back to your chin. But way better then most people on here keep up the good work.

  • dude,ur,pretty,powerfu,for,ur,size,srry,bout,the,commas,space,bars,broken....keep,up,the,training.

  • Damn dude, not only is your hit hard, your fast on your toes, you could beat some ass man.

  • you alright, good speed. stamina needs work.

  • Great technique, good stance , good foot work, nice speed and power my only criticism you should add more variety to your combination's throwing up to 6 and 8 punch combos instead of just 3 and 4 you have the skills to do it..

  • nice boxing bro, u got power and speed.

  • Good technique, variety of punches and power. I also like that bag, looks like a water one which I believe is better for prevention of injuries.

  • yeah u certainly know how to hit on heavy bag

  • really hard and fast hits! damn your good.....id hate to be that bag

  • you hit like a pussy

  • punch any harder and you'll make your bag pop!!! DAMN! you hit hard. i hope you still hit this hard when you're relaxed, because you're a beast!

  • i hate to admit it but you have heavy hands and pretty fast too.. how much do you weight?

  • BEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSST!

  • nice vid bro. one of the best on youtube. I want to see people punch the bag and get a good workout while doing it! i'm tired of watching people talk while punching the bag, its very boring.

  • keep ur guard up man!

  • you are a beast my dudee

  • bro you can hit thats all I can say u got the stance the angle and the way you deliver your punches are in perfect form

  • Dude, your sharp. Base skills are fantastic. Get in a gym and keep polishing those skills up. Best thing you could do is find a good trainer. Really put you on the front foot.

  • looking good bro. nice combos but i feel like even that your training and hitting the heavy bag you still have to keep your hands up everytime your left hits the bag you kinda let it drop and a fast opponentwould really punish you for that. but still great video and nice foot work

  • fuckin savage looks like a smaller version of tyson hitting the bag

  • Good speedy combos, power and speed. Keep your elbows in when you punch and keep your left hand up though. Your lead drops every time. Very good work. Bless

  • @Thetrainert i see alot of guys fight with their lead down, if you think you're fast enough to get away with it by all means do so. he looks fast as hell so i dont see it being an issue. that cookie cutter shit is boring anyways

  • Nice. Try keeping your elbows tucked into your center line. Let your elbow point down. Increases power but doesn't lose speed.

    Regards.

  • Nice.

  • nice combos bro what back do you use, namebrand

  • wowww you are good but your style makes your left hand hang low correct this before some one makes you correct it!!!

  • fuck man, what you doing in a garage? go fight!

  • im from uk good move wicked closeing, combos nice, what u weigh think u ned to go heavyer as your power is bang on, good work one of the best ive seen on here....................................................dunno about music lol

  • I LIVE IN OLMSTEAD FALLS WANNA SPAR WITH ME?

  • please watch my video i just posted and tell me what u guys think i have never been told or trained on anything thanks

  • Very nice...for someone who is not training regularly, it sure doesn't look that way. You wanted some advice...I've trained a lot of guys (not in Ohio, though), and from the short video I'm looking at, the only thing I can suggest is: On your jab, bring your elbow down a little so the jab flicks out from the center line, otherwise your elbow rides high and outside your body and your opponent sees it, and your chin is exposed.. Watch some Larry Holmes for that...he's a master at it. Nice job.

  • @toddymo he trains very regularly! ofcourse he does!

  • looks like ud hurt someone haha ima buy me a bag u guys think i should buy a 50-60 or 70 lb bag i am 16 and i will start lifting

  • @blakasassin1 100lb

  • @blakasassin1 Heaviest bag you can find, it'll last longer, and the bag moves less so you can work around it, which is what you want =]

  • i like this, i like how that right hand stays right there next to that chin, a lot of dudes who post vids try and be tight and loose form. the only constructive criticism i have bro? is plz tuck those elbows in = )

  • you look good for someone who doesnt train at a gym like pro no joke man.

  • @sakart23 how do you know he dont train at a gym?

  • good job man you have heavy hands bro .try this ..HEAD MOVEMENT ON THE WAY IN AND ON THE WAY OUT , ALSO TRY BEING UNORTHODOX ALITTLE, ALSO TRY STAYING ON YOUR TOES.. YOUR DOING REALLY WELL THOUGH JUST GIVING OPTIONS

  • damn man thats good sh.. keep it up mayn this is prolly the best video of bag hittin that i seen on youtube.. u got speed and power, good technique n all.. good sh.. man im impressed..

  • Thats some good work, the first 45 sec. your a total beast, slowed a bit after that. With power like that would tire anyone quickly, great movement, I give you a 9 out of 10 cause nobody is perfect. Keep up the good work, looking great.

  • niggas a beast

  • way better than watching those expert village fucks

  • @gabrielnuku LMAO!!!most definetly

  • i live like a half an hour drive from canton, if your still looking for some one to spar with message me

  • nice you are good

  • damn, fast and powerful. i wouldnt fight him.

  • I would hang the bag lower so I could give some lower punches as well. Also I would change the bag, this isn't good for the job. Your punches are good, keep practicing your ins and outs but with more quickness. Your feet should be faster than your hands in most of the occasions, that's my philosophy anyway. Last thing, mix it up a little, punches after your head movement and all that. Good luck, keep practicing
