The Raid effect is a "when revealed" effect. That is why the tokens are necessary, it's not when you kill the monster but when you reveal it from the deck that it effects you!

About the rather rhetorical question of 0:40 , I have no idea about Thunderstone having never played it nor really wanting to buy an expasion for a game that I don't have. The real reason I'm watching this review is because I enjoy Tom and the way he reviews and talks and makes everything so much fun!!

Swifttail's art is the exact same as N'ck from Legend of the 5 Rings, for some reason. The other art looks familiar to me too, probably more from L5R's Ratling / Nezumi race. They must have had the go-ahead from the artist, it's just strange to see the art in there.
