Get good weapons (boomshot, grenades to tag) you can take the host down. I got sick of the crap with the host shotgun 1 on 1, im a good shot but could never get the host down, so i decided to host for myself to see if being host really had an advantage. As host you dont lag & your shotgun is much more effective, the opposing team if they have good players, can still bring you down. Ive played against people as host who must have a 'super' connection because i was 'out hosted' with the shotgun
