  • Người Pháp phát âm chữ "qu.." giống như chữ "k..." trong tiếng Việt, nên xem clip nào Quỳnh Anh cũng bị phát âm thành "Kuynh Anh" hết ;))

  • tres beau duo j'addor

  • Quỳnh Anh hiền quá :D. Elle est doux :x

  • uchyl

  • 好听~~

  • mặc dù em không biết tiếng Pháp, nhưng giai điệu và giọng rất hay. Cám ơn!

  • I also thank you Marc Lavoine and Quynh Anh. With many of his songs he has helped many Vietnamese's hearts are closer. Thank you Marc/Quynh Anh.

  • So great . One song the vietnam . Come to vietnam . meeting the vietnamese . Everyone . over the world .Thank you

  • @Kakliza: No, French is one of the foreign languages in Vietnam, just some people can speak. We use Vietnamese language for all the formal and informal issues in Vietnam. Pham Quynh Anh can speak French mostly because she lives there

  • A great song, Thank she.

  • Lyrics Translation (Revised): I write emails real fast. You reply me so soon. Your face turns red. My heart goes wild. I hope, I hope, I hope, oh yes I hope. It's my nature ummm I hope. Like Yoko Ono said and I tried to find the words: The air is the only thing we share, my fellows. I hope, I hope, I hope, oh yes I hope. It's my nature umm I hope. I live for love. But love is like a scattered shower. There is no lasting love.

  • does anyone know if Quynh Anh is coming out anymore songs or any info on her recordings or interview? i really love her, because of her Vietnamese got something to be proud of :D ♥

  • @nguyennhunhi Quynh Anh and Pham Quynh Anh are two different people. Quyng Anh is a beautiful Vietnamese Belgium born singer... and Pham Quynh Anh is an ugly Vietnamese born singer with a bad voice and looks like a chihuahua.

  • you're right! but hey ... he made the song!

  • hey, song and singer like fist and water, they all soooooo gooddddddd,

  • Translation: I HOPE -- I write emails real fast. You reply me so soon. Your face turns red. My heart goes wild. I hope I hope I hope oh yes I hope. It's my nature ummm I hope. • I think they're lip-synching. Sounds good.. just not live!

  • Great Quynh Anh,congratulation.

She is a Vietnamese girl, who was born in Belgium and she is living in the famous happy family with good educate. Her parent are Doctors and also Vietnamese boat people before 30 years ago.I was cried and swept my tear always when heard she sang " one day I'll come to say Hello : Vietnam".Thank you song writer and thank you Quynh Anh.

  • In an interview , Quynh Anh said that in school she learns English, French, and Dutch. That's amazing. I guess the fact that she can't speak Vietnamese is because it's a difficult language. I'm Vietnamese and have been living in the US for 5 years, and I realize that I gradually have to trade some complicated words with simpler ones or English words to have a smooth conversation with other Vietnamese people. My language is never easy even for a native Vietnamese.

  • hahah my whole family is from vietnam,

im the only one in my family that cant speak it.

    :S

your right its really ever so hard

my mum always seems to yell when she speaks vietnamese

    xDD

  • I can understand. It must be difficult for you. I used to judge Vietnamese teenagers who can't speak at least a full Vietnamese sentence. However, when I realize the language is not easy for myself, my judgement goes away. Don't stress out! If you don't like Vietnamese, then don't study it. I bet that your good behavior to your parents and society counts, and your parents will be proud of your ethics rather than your language.

  • -.-" I'm a teenager and I can speak it fluetly :P And I live in Norway :)

  • Either you have the talent in Vietnamese language or your family has a strong influence on you. I came to the US when I was 18, and somehow my Vietnamese becomes less complicated. I manage not to mix English words in my sentences unless there is no equivalent word in Vietnamese, but it's never easy. You can speak Vietnamese fluently. That's very great.

  • Thank you :)

I was born in Norway and since then I've talked Vietnamese with adults. with kids I only talk norwegian, but sometimes I talk english with my little sister (not adopted)...

And now I can't talk norwegian with vietnamese adults and find it really hard to communicate in vietnamese with my cousins.. It is kinda funny though..

  • In the US, Vietnamese middle-aged or older people tend to have difficult time learning English even though English has simple grammatical structure. I think the problem is only vocabulary and pronunciation.

I don't know any Norwegian, so I can't tell how hard it is for foreigners in Norway. Is it very difficult to learn Norwegian?

  • I'm actually born here in Norway so I speak Norwegian, English and vietnamese fluetly ^.^

And no, norwegian is actually very easy. My uncle just married a woman from Vietnam and she lives here now. She can read and understand and talk a little. I think she has lived here a year now :D

  • Translation: I HOPE -- I write emails real fast You reply me so soon Your face turns red My heart goes wild I hope I hope I hope Oh yes I hope It's my nature umm I hope Like Yoko Ono said and I tried to find the words: The air is the only thing we share, my fellows. • Thank you MagicTouchUSA for translating these beautiful words.

  • belissimo, precioso *****

  • superbe musique j'adore superbe voix tres belle parole marc lavoine trop genial beau duo enfin GENIAL BRAVOOO 5******

  • Sisi Vietnam

    J'adore cette musique

  • Simple. Vietnamese singers are NOT mainstream singers. What I yearn is a Vietnamese Mariah, Christina, etc.. Hopefully Quynh Anh will get there one day.

  • Quynh Anh is the only Vietnamese mainstream singer in the world. It's good that she can't and will not sing in Vietnamese because that would bring her to the same level as other Vietnamese singers. Make us proud and stay there Quynh Anh. Don't narrow your audience to just those from Thuy Nga, Asia, Van Son, etc..

  • i dont get it. why would singing in vietnamese be DEGRADING to her reputation?? the only reason why she's not singing in vietnamese YET is because she's not ready.

  • I hope she never sings in Vietnamese, we have enough of those singers already. She's too talented to be limited to those boring shows. Fortunately her Vietnamese isn't that good so hopefully she'll stick to what she's been doing, it's the only way she'll be known internationally.

  • I am so grateful there's another person out there with eyes. It's a pity there's a lot people out there who can't see what we can, Achilles. Perhaps "furuba031" is an epitome of that.

  • Voice, most people don't think outside the box. I'm sure they want her to succeed, but in a way that limits her to only the Vietnamese community. But how is she then any different from say, Minh Tuyet, Tam Doan or Nhu Quynh? Nobody outside the Vietnamese community knows about those singers I mentioned, and I would hate to see the same fate for Quynh Anh. Just like you said, too much reputation is on the line, that I'm sure she worked too hard for. We want to see her succeed and known worldwide!

  • you r right, mate! We have enough Vietnamese singers out there around the world: Australia, America, Canada, France,... we just dont need another Vietnamese singer right now, all we just need is an international singer who is of Vietnamese background.

  • I agree with you, too. I don't understand why many Vietnamese people criticize Vietnamese descendants just because they sing in another language but not Vietnamese. Look at Aqua, Michael Learn to Rock, M2M. They are Danish and Norwegian, but they don't sing in their languages. They sing in English, and their music is still very good. It's time for us, Vietnamese people, to be open minded.

  • Quynh Anh is vietnamese i didnt know she can sing this kind!!

  • Wow, so beautiful ...

  • Whoa Shes So Talented... (:

    Makes Viets Looks Good !

  • QA is awesome. luv your music

  • Yeah vietnamese ftw

  • Quynh Anh looks stunningly hot in this video, compare to the one in Thuy Nga's Paris by Night. Further, she seems to be manipulated by Marc. Look carefully and you'll find she seems lost.

  • "hot" wouldn't be an appropriate word to describe her; and she doesn't look lost, she's always like that...

  • Perhaps you know her better than me in terms of her looking lost. Anyhow, sure I can use the word "hot" to describe her. I think she's stunningly sexy, which is synonymous with "hot." It's only my opinion, ExtraCoke. I am sure other people don't share my taste at all, but they are certainly entitled to it.

  • they're profesional singers.i'm not understand france,i liked the music beat.

  • wow quynh anh has a very pretty dress in this clip. and plus she has the most prettiest voice than anyone in the city of saigon.

  • This is not the PQA from saigon...This PQA was born in Belgium and she can barely speaks Vietnamese ^^

  • QA is so cool!!! Hope all the best will be with you. See U in Viet Nam

  • can anybody please translate what they're saying? i can't understand french

  • I write emails in seconds

You reply to me See you later

Your face turn rosy, my heart beats hopefully.

I hope, I hope, I hope, oh yes, I hope.

Like Yoko Ono has said and I try to find the words:

The air is the only thing we share.

    We want to make love

    But love is diluvian

    Scattered by time running by

There isnt love that can last

  • She seems to be born of romantic songs!

  • C'est une belle chanson francaise et je l'adore.

  • Ow! hos jate cheu si J'espère

  • Viva Quynh Anh, u r the best. keep it up

  • Quynh Anh is Vietnamese...lovely eyes... I think I'm in love..^^

  • oh my god, i really love your voice..

  • can i have the link to this plz thankx plz reply

  • Quynh Anh was born in Belgium. Her parents care Vietnamese and they immigrated to Belgium. In europe they usually learn many languages , that 's why QA can speak many languages . She's so talented BTW , a hello from US

  • Hello to all of you,

It does not matter where she was born or raised. She is so beautiful, so talented, so intelligent (she can speak 4 languages). None of you have the qualities she does or else you would be famous too. Just enjoy her songs, I am rich, handsome, young, and I am a doctor, I wish to meet a girl like her some day.

  • yep... but 3 and 1/2... she can't really speak Vietnamese like most Vietnamese that were born in foreign countries...

  • she so awesome

  • she's in Europe not USA....

  • great song...she`s amazing...

  • Quynh Anh RockS! lol

  • hi that girl is vietnamese ????? lol

  • une chanteuse belge d'origine viet chante avec un francetoque Marc Lavoine , ce n'est pas mal...

  • j espere que tu va faire d autre chanson comme ca ,superbe ta chanson ,oh oui j espere aussi.......

  • she was born & raised in belgium...her parents didn't leave the country together but met each other when they got to belgium

  • Elle n'est pas trop belle mais elle chante bien

  • xD

I think shes really really cute.. haha, depends on people ^^

Quynh anh is so much pretty ~~~ xinh dep vai lin !!

  • I take my words back.

I went to an interview of Quynh Anh.

I just found out that she is very cute.

It is just funny that her hair was short before and she looked like a typical chinese actress. but that is good that she has long hair now.

  • I totally agree with you, her hair now is better

  • Thank u bro , or sis

  • Im boy hehehehehe

  • la chanteuse vient de mons en belgique, elle etait ds la meme ecole que moi et a tjs montré une grande passion pr le chant

  • vraiment?

  • SIGH~

    - there's 2 quynh anh's

    - who knows if she knows how to speak viet or not, go ask her

    - the way she pronounced vietnam: that's how you say vietnam in french.... she said it with a belgian/french accent ..just b/c she did so does not mean she doesn't know how to speak viet...

    sigh~

  • She can speak vietnamese and understand it but she can't read it or write it.

  • ok, for all you stupid people, there are two famous singer with the name os Pham Quynh Anh. one was born and raised in Vietnam and sing Vietnamese only, one was Vietnam-Belgium, not sure where she born, but she was raised in Belgium, she sing French most of the time

  • shes speaks viet...jus youtube her . sh esings in vietnam

  • omg and all this time i thought it was Pham Quynh Anh. I knew PQA couldn't have sung this song!

  • Her surname is Pham, so most likely she's 100% Vietnamese. Maybe she was born in Belgium or has moved to Belgium since young, which may explain why she doesn't speak Vietnamese well, or doesn't speak it at all. That happens to almost all overseas Vietnamese.

  • Arigato Gozaimasu!

  • Um...I know that some Vietnamese are half White-American or Black- American due to the Vietnam War and some are French due to French colonization. My mom herself is half French, how can I not know that. But that's only the very few. I'm speaking for the WHOLE ORIGINALITY here, people. I'm talking about THE vietnamese. I know what I'm talking about. I was proving how ignorant some people are at making fun or degrading another nationality in which they originated.

  • At the end, Marc Lavoine says "Arigatou, au revoir!" That's Japanese! Bwahaha!!!

  • nope, he said "à biên tôt! Au revoir!" ưhich means "see you soon! good bye"

  • One more thing. Zenlover, your ancestor may be Lucy, but not mine. Mine is Adam and Eve. =)

  • No where in my comment offend one's nationality, but ignorance of origin. And, oh, Viper, Vietnamese have no mixture of other nationality like the Americans. So, I hope you see my point

  • Actually, you're wrong on that: Many Vietnamese people are mixed with other nationalities such as the French and Chinese. Both ruled over Vietnam for many years, so it wouldn't be weird to see people that are actually mixed. Also, since the Americans came over during the Vietnam War, you'll also see some Vietnamese mixed with American.

It's just like the Filipinos and Spanish. Hehe.

  • What point were you making before viper said something? You were simply making fun of Chinese people in the beginning, you idiot. Take a look in the mirror before you make fun of one race.

  • They were Brits, and it would definitely make one sound stupid to argue about whether an ORIGINAL colonist is Brit or not. And as of Americans TODAY. There's no comparison, as Americans are multiracial. You simply cannot say.."he looks German, or she looks Italian", as he/she has all blood. And for Zenlover, you're just a sympathetic ignorant who is tagging along. Read back to your reply. And how is that an "analogy" and you "trying to make a point"?

  • This is to viperucla. Yes, I understand people have nationality pride. But do you clearly see what comments the others were making about her being Chinese or Vietnamese? They seemed to underestimate another nationality (their origin). And yes, Americans are German/Brit/Chinese/Japanese..and so on. But, I'm comparing to the ORIGINAL colonists here.

  • Ok, for those of you who complains about whether she looks Chinese or whatever..you are all stupid. How can you not know your own origin if you are Vietnamese? You have to have someone else tell you that? Ok, I'll tell you. You Vietnamese originated from China. Yes, you all were once Chinese. Just like the original colonists were British. How can she not look Chinese if her ancestors were Chinese? Shut up and learn history before you come and make crappy assumptions.

  • Yeah, I agree. And all you chinese come from monkey.

  • zenlover1, you have to be an incompetent person to make such a statement. If the chinese were to come from monkeys, what do you think YOU are made of? For your reference, 99.9% of human DNA are the same.

  • I am sorry, viperucla. I was just trying to make a point that people have their own right to identify themselves as one people regardless of their origin. It was just a simple analogy. I know I should have used a better one. OK, we all come from monkeys.

  • As for OMGdontforget7's comment, I think you have to allow people to make comparisons between nationalities as we are all human. What you are telling us is the same thing as telling the American people that they do not make comparisons between them and the British/French/German people. There are many different nationalities within any specific race and I think people will always make such comparisons as long as national pride exists.

  • wow, she's gorgeos with a matching voice at that, props to Parisiens

  • she's so good.

  • if you dont like her look, just fuk off and dont watch the clip. otherwise shut up and enjoy.

  • cool! Bravo Quynh Anh!

  • why do people keep complaining for nothing...just enjoy guys she is doing much more for Vietnam that you will ever do...it's not the look that matter people

  • i love this song.

  • i hope she doesn't get invited to paris by night. those things are a joke. nothing but lipsynchers.

  • she looks full vietnamese to me...her eyes and face are completely different compares to the chinese..

  • i love it

  • i love this performance

  • yeah i'm suprised she hasn't been invited onto PBN yet. sooner or later

  • it's verry funny how other people try to pronouce vietnamese worrds...`

  • how can i download the music? DOES SOMEONE HAVE THIS SONG AND 'JAI TOUT OUBLIE"??i really want them and they are not found in ares, or atleast i can. couldsomeone email it to me or send it tome thorugh msn/aim??

    merciii

  • J'trouve que Marc Lavoine est terriblement sexy dans cette video...

Sinon pour pas faire Hors sujet, j'touve la chanson géniale (j'trouve ça dommage aussi que dans le clip on mette pas le nom de Quynh Anh !).

  • i have no idea what this song means, but it sounds so good. Makes me want to travel to France!

  • The song "J'espere" is in the album CD "L'heure d'Ete" of Marc Lavoine. You can find it in Europe or Ebay.

  • she is HOT, wish she could sing me to sleep un jour, kakak

  • elle est belle , vietnamienne et chante bien ! surtout fais nous d'autres chansons !

  • Yeaaaaah my cousin ^^

  • I hope she won't have an affair with Mark Lavoine .

    She so young.

I like to listen her singing in Vietnamese tongue.

  • In a interview, she referred Mark Lavoine like his dad :)

It seems that she can't speak Vietnamese.

  • I thought so: In one song, she said that the word "Vietnam" was hard to pronounce. That there just told me that she couldn't speak Vietnamese.

  • I agree that Paris by Night should invite Q.Anh to sing "Bonjour Vietnam." This song was the first that I heard of her and I was totally charmed by her voice...

  • she looks chinese

  • she's vietnamese

  • yah i know. but i'm saying she looks chinese. she's probably part chinese if anything.

  • ppl like u are pathetic. constantly obsessing over your preconceived notions of what a specific ethnicity should look like, and if someone doesn't fit into ur lil mold u suddenly label them "part this", "part that", as if all viet ppl look the same and there isn't huge variation.

she is not "part anything" unless proven otherwise, and i mean with real sources other than ur personal opinion on how all vietnamese should look like.

  • No, people like you are pathetic. Everyone is entitled to an opinion & I just said she LOOKS part Chinese. If you're offended because I think she's part Chinese then maybe YOU'RE the one obsessed with something. There are plenty of Vietnamese-Chinese people in Vietnam and I happen to think she is one. I'll stop thinking that when you can prove otherwise.

  • The fact to the matter is that her name is a Viet name , and that means she's Vietnamese, regardless of outer look. If every one so insist on the original look of people, are you basically saying that all Chinese look the same? Then you're completely wrong cos if talking about Chinese, there're also hundres of Chinese tribes who live in different regions within the country, and same for Vietnamese, and they do LOOK DIFFERENT. -->outer look just partially suggests where you are from , not fully.

  • and i actually think she looks quite vietnamese. especially her lips.

  • ...First of all, all you guys... Stop fighting. She's Vietnamese mixed with Belgian. If you watch the video, they tell you in there.

  • actually from what I understand her parents are vietnamese who immigrated to belgium. thus she is vietnamese belgian, but she is not mixed with belgian. i'm sorry but I've seen many mixed eurasian vietnamese in my day and this girl looks full asian.

  • according to her official website both of her parents are vietnamese

  • Thats cos she is Vietnamese...

  • Such a beautifull chemistry

  • Goshhhhhh...this is soo good..............don't understand it but it's good..........Paris by Night should invite Quynh Anh to one of their concert...
