me to so i converted to forward only. also because the opti drive fail safe is not so fail safe. mine when loose connection to me speeds up rather than hitting the brake

hmm, i never ahd a t maxx but they got truck of year for ages like the revo a quality thing, u having trouble with it? perhaps you should write the carb base setings down in the lid of your tool box with permanent marker, also buy aload of fuel line and change it regularly . air leaks are amjor pain with running a nitro engine. i hope this is good info to you and i hope you dont think im critising you just trying to help incase your struggling with ya truck.
