What a treat to see these. And thanks for putting Charles Bronson's on their for he was a fav.of mine. Could not believe the little article People magazine did on him when he passed away? I was at Bruce's and Brandon's grave in 97 and Bruce had a lot more flowers so I took the biggest one and put it on Brandon's. My friend said what are you doing and I replied Bruce would want it that way :) I will be sad when Eastwood & Reynolds leaves us as well as many others
So sad! but these fantastic actors/singers will ALWAYS be remembered. It's lovely to know that by putting vids like this together is a mark of respect to these people. The song 'Angel' is very fitting.
John Wayne Has a marker? I watched a documentary where they said he was burried in an unmarked grave. Something about not wanting to many fans going to the grave or idiots vandalizeing it.
Thanks for the information...she sounds like jennifer warnes..y'know...that little yodel she puts in now and again.....lots of records are not released in the UK. We asked some guys in the pub one night..'Who is Garth Brooks' (he'd sold 60 million records at the time)....they got their heds together and came back with....'.Got it now.....He plays football '........thanks again.....liverpool.
These tributes are a sobering reminder for what waits for all of us. No matter how wealthy, how famous, how loved these people were, they are reduced - inevitably - to a grave marker, and isn't it interesting to see how some of the most famous have the humblest of markers?

Bob Hope certainly didn't know anything about the big-ass monument he wound up in. He was not, shall we say, a big spender. Jackie Gleason, who was a big spender, would be pleased with a resting place befitting his ego. Rodney Dangerfield's inscription is perfect, the best thing in the video.
Wow that was really good, hope this doesn't sound morbid, but it was nice to see the actors from a long time ago that people may not remember like Michael Landon and the Three Stooges. They will forever will be in our hearts.

Not likely we'll see stars of this caliber again- Ive been entertained by most every one of these names in my 51 years, indeed they are chapters in my life that I will never forget as they were part of my youth and remind me of the class Hollywood stars used to have. Theres good work being done now, and its a new era, but lets not forget those who came before - - RIP

A side note Charlie Chaplin's body was dug up and sort of held for ransom. It was taken from his grave and laid in a field. Originally the grave robbers wanted to just take the body out but dig a deeper grave and put the body deeper in the grave. But the weather didn't permit that. The body was recovered and the grave robbers arrested. There is a cross where the body was buried in the field. Oona liked the place his body was taken to better than where he was originally then subsequently buried.
Morrison's Grave doesn't look like that anymore. I was there in 1991, and someone had stolen the bust quite some time before. Just a simple plaque on granite, but it was still a thing to behold.
why is this grave of Karen Carpenter in the video as the crypt once had her remains in on here because she,s now interred in a mausoleum in the grounds of the carpenter mansion. personally I don't like the style of the crypt as it has no reflection of how talented Karen and other carpenters were. Some of those headstones/plots are very simple, even plain. You would think someone famous would have a nicer marker, especially the flat ones.
The usage of this song is getting way overdone. I was expecting to see abused animals in this video.

NO, Cliff wasn't buried. He was cremated, and his ashes was scattered on ranch in Arizona.

They saved the best for last. Elvis' gravesite is the only one I've seen personally.

Great video! Very touching and emotional!
Wherever you got the pictures of the gravesites from that was great!
Loved and never forgotten!
