  • Yeah this song used to get the weekend kicked off. Sent chills up my back knowing the 8-5 m-f grind was over and the weekend was up. Dig the video. Great one to have in the archives.

  • awesome! i love the state capital in the background! ha ha!

  • Right down to their very name, this band sucks.

  • @rottendenmarkforever U MUST BE A DORK!!

  • The greatest KLBJ DJ to ever grace the studios... The infamous Johnny Walker! That was how I knew it was time to quit work on Friday afternoon and bring on the weekend. We miss you Johnny Walker hope you are doing better! For my mother!

  • You know what's awesome? Kevin McKinney (left guitarist) taught me how to play guitar. He taught me for 2 years. He's possible the coolest guy I've ever met.

  • @hellfire177 and a good golfer! He is a rare talent. Billy is one smoking guitarist too. I bought a strat from him years and years ago.

  • Do they still play this song on Fridays at 5:00?!?!?!

  • alas the new KLBJ DJs are to young to remember that power play

  • Who was that DJ? Goodtimes!

  • The best- Frosty!

  • Made it? If my old and feeble mind recalls correctly they DID make it, and I'd say they didn't want the level of compromise, artisticly and otherwise, that comes with a big record deal.

  • You're going to LOVE Blueshammer!

  • Tight band that raised the bar.

  • They made everything they were looking for. "Making it is what you make of it!"

  • Never knew why these guys never "made-it". Definately one of the most, if not the most original bands of the 90's from Austin.

  • That's because these guys actually refused major Stardom, they were actually bigger than they wanted to be.

  • Soul Hat at Liberty Lunch were shows I will never forget. Both are now gone but that scene was Austin Rock n Roll at its best.

  • Amen to that...Buddy Guy at Liberty Lunch was always a treat! I used to see Soulhat at Steamboat on 6th all the time..damn I miss those days... :(

  • its awesome to have kevin as a teacher, hes a great guitarist.

  • Ya the original soulhat be gone, but Kevin still plays the classics & I love all his new stuff. Just wish He'd come back to denver soon.

  • Just like the damn record

  • truely a great band. thanks.

  • Soul Hat is the shit. It's a shame they're gone.

  • Gone? I filmed this fall of 2006. They gig when they want to.

  • Good jam
