When I watched it on the dvd the joke was why doesn't the sanzo party travel by train. Then they travel for a bit. Then Goyjo says, "That's it. I can't stand staring at another guy for the whole ride. Sanzo says "You don't have to tell me that" And they both get off.

No,Gojyo and Sanzo are pissed off because Goku is noisy when he eats and when he sleeps,so they decide to go outside (I don't know where ^__^ )
