This might be a 99-00 era viggen 225hp stock well it looks a little different than my 2001 9-3 viggen and yes viggens are 9-3's not 900 who ever thought its a 900 is a retard.. and it sounds like a ricer thats y i asked if it was an older t5 model sounds like it has a BOV which can only be fitted to a t5 model engine since the fitting is located under the turbo with no room for the bov on a t7 but nice drive looks a little slow might b the video tho my viggen is balls fast for stock idk..
What you said about the BOV is not true. A BOV can be fitted on any car with a turbo. Also, the t5 and t7 have no real changes as far as mechanical goes, t5 and t7 are simply the engine management systems. The BOV simply replaces the By-pass valve located on the intake pipe going from the intercooler to the throttle body. If you want to put a BOV on your car, remove the hose going from the air cleaner hose to the turbo and then remove the BPV and put the BOV on.
@Lash700000 I don't think T7 will accept a BOV....ask any tuner, Taliaferro, JSP, JZW, Maptun, etc....You can install a BOV On T-7 with a "Re-circulating" kit but then that is not a true BOV because it is re circulating. But you might be right? If you check out Taliaferro SAAB and look at the performance section 900/9-3 the blow off valve plug, it indicates T-5 cars ONLY telling me the T-7 will not accept it. oh yeah it also says" T-5 only" ;)
