  • Nice, thank you.... What web site can I buy dvd for self teach.

  • @spasibadoug It is on Taichihealthways

  • Nice demonstration of The Frolic of the Five Animals by a fine master.

  • like your shoes.

  • looks like tai chi chuan

  • @Elfulano i believe taiji chuan can also be considered chi gong. i might be wrong tho =O

  • good excercis. youtube.com

  • are those the new chuck taylors?awww yeah.

    Carlos Robayna.

  • he trains in his chuck taylor sneakers just like me! the true secret to energy flow and meditation!!

  • i notice a considerable energy boost after a qi kung work out. i don't follow any sort of specific forms, i just do fluid kung fu movements that flow well together, being careful to visualize my chi being stored below my naval and breathing in through my nose and out the mouth.. this video is also helpful for correct kung fu form movement

  • I know when i do chi kung exercises, it gives me a very impressive boost of energy.. focusing on breathing and storing energy and using the energy in your chi stores below the naval definitely helps. i feel it as soon as my exercise is done...

  • nice converse

  • wow amazing

  • kempobrad - understanding how it helps benefits the practitioners understanding of how to do the form properly, thus cultivating chi correctly which will aid in a healthy body (and mind), so the answer is "yes" it does matter how it helps.

  • good tecnique 4 life

  • This is a weird question, but does Chi help to prevent one from being ambushed by insects? I'm very new to Chi gung and would love to practice out doors, but I'm being constantly attacked by our little flying friends.

  • @fireongreen

Well my friend, here is a little advice from another Tai Chi amateur:

If you train Tai Chi outdoors and ignore insects buzzing around you, your Tai Chi is more effective and that grows your concentration and self-control. I think. :)

  • wear loose clothing and move fast young master :)

  • @fireongreen WTF? ambush from insect? no it doesnt prevent insect bites ..haha..what are you 8? Qi-Gung is for health and well being nothing else man...lol try practicing inside, and if your being attack constantly outside heres a little advice....take a shower! lol i heard insect are attracted to foul Oder and smells.

  • The moves are designed to circulate chi(energy) through your body to stimulate all energy centers and bring forth balance and well being.

  • It helps with life they are designed for healthy living

  • does it really matter "how" it helps? as long as it helps.

  • balance, inner chi, discipline, serenity theres something to be learned from everything

  • Nice Video

  • chi also means driveing force or braeth

  • Move over UFC losers! Get ready to feel the wrath of the FIVE ANIMAL FROLICS!!!!

  • eh, i think the guy was being ironic

i bet you a dollar you are a yank

due to your lack of sense of irony and your uncalled for aggression

  • nice thx for the share and btw converse all-star For The Win

  • Nice job on this video. Best of luck with these.

  • your a great man jesse

  • Master Tsao, thank you so much for posting your excellent videos! I like the music of this video a lot - plse give me the name of the musicians.

  • It was from the traditional Chinese music classic. I don't have the musician's name. It was a thousands years old music.

  • First of all I'd like to show my sympathy for your videos and skills, I sense deep serenity, strenght and possitive passion. I would like to learn Tai Chi too as an extra form of meditation and to gain from its other benefits.

Furthermore I would also like to say I'm also touched by the music. Would it be possible to share the song anyway? I know you don't know the musician's name, otherwise it would be pleasant to hear his music more often.

  • rision

  • You must guard your mind and heart. With this, there is an element of paradox, for whilst you must feel as freely as possible, temperance and clarity must also be applied equally. Hence it becomes a question of everchanging balance. From this we attain the feeling of flow. Once you feel the internal flow you will begin to feel it outside of you in your life. After this your own personal process begins.

Ignore new age nonsense that will send you in circles. You have all you need already. :0)

  • After going in circles for a year or so with New Age nonsense, I can say that I agree with you 100% :-)

Anything you're seeking for can probably be found within -- look no further!

  • I'm very heavy and I'm going to do this.

will this help healing my back, stomach and losing my weight?

  • You can feel the energy flow even in your first try if you are RELAXED.

  • I agree! Qigong can be used both for healing and martial arts application!!

  • qi gong isnt only used for healing. it is also use before martial arts because it helps you hone your qi

  • Sifu Tsao thanks for posting this beautiful form and your artistry!

Is it true that this chi kung is spontaneous and can result in some weird chi sickness or possession or is that due to something else, someone who did the 5 frolics said it messed him up over time.

  • @kuan889 The moves aint even extreme, its nothing magically so i dont see how someone can get sick from it....using that logic then i guess walking and stretching would make him sick too then? lmao

Possession and Qi sickness?..hmm last time i check that only happens in kung fu movies when you practise your Qi Gong with evil intent, but thats movies not real life.....so i guess your friend probablly just has some kind of STD or something lol

  • that music makes me all kundalini

  • If you don't mind me asking... What is Kundalini?

  • it's a life force which vibrates in our body. Many people try to feel the kuldalini through kundalini yoga or chakra medetation. I think you get the main idea now

  • I always feel drawn to the Animal Frolics (probably due to their shamanic qualities). This version seems quite artistic and lively and has a very neat feel to it. Thanks for your generous sampling of your DVD; I hope to order it soon. Keep up the great, great work.

  • That's THE qigong... I loved every part of it... specially the monkey... it was elegant, strong and beautiful

  • Thank you so much!!

  • This video made my stomach tickle for some weird reason. LOL

  • Great! I do have more videos coming monthly and would share with people on YouTube. Please hit the "subscribe" at the right upper corner of the orange button to receive new video clip.

  • I'd like to see some of your videos with fast ti chi

  • I have Tai Chi Power Striking and Cannon Fist in fast speed. Thank you! Just search for "Jesse Tsao tai chi" you will be able find them!

  • i have a question plz,if i do these exercices everyday...how long will it takes to feel the energy? plz answer.thank you

  • Within one week! You can feel the energy flow even in your first try if you are relaxed.

  • this is very powerful and soul strengthening. i miss martial arts :(

  • Qi Gong is not a "wisdom" it is something to develop the internal energy, or Qi. The words even mean literally "Energy/Breath Work." There is a Buddha named Ji Gong. maybe you are confusing this with him?

  • but chi gung is not this

  • chi gung is a particular wisdom. I know this because I am a philosopher,

  • I tried it a few times, now I wish I could continue it. This is something to incorporate into one's life.

  • the movemment full of power

  • lols how come he always does tai chi in the bushes?

  • these videos make me sleepy :) Helps me relax hehe, i enjoy watching these. I might pick this up as a side martial art one day :D

  • My 17 month old baby loves to watch and to do these movements! Thank you very much for posting the video.

  • Yes, it is called Wu-Qin-xi in Chinese. Thank you for enjoying the video.

  • Excellent,a great set of movements and sequences for health. It seems to be the Wujinxi,is it?

  • Yes, this is Wu Qin Xi. I highly recommend this video. Jesse Tsao teaches this popular form in a very detailed way. His teaching method is very relaxed and at times very cute. This form is not easy to do. There are other versions of Wu Qin Xi that are more suitable for older people, but if you are athletic enough, or a kung fu practitioner, then this one is for you!

  • It is nice to get this comment from you VladtheEmailer! I am sure you are an experienced Qigong or Tai Chi person. You are welcome to visit my website for more of my videos and free lessons at taichihealthways
