@MTHDrummer Yeah, there's actually 3 grenades hanging on my set which are visible throughout the vid, along with the .50 caliber machine gun bullets that top my cymbals.
Holy sweet mother of....stunningly gorgeous set!!! I've never seen anything even remotely like it. Had to add this video to my Vintage and Cool Gear playlist :) Thanks for the tour, Gunner!
Hey what are those things on top of your cymbal stands that look like bullets. Did you make those, buy those...and are those things from 74' also. Nice set
DW-5000 pedals. Most of my drum heads are from a long time ago; they are mostly Ludwig Rocker heads. I'm trying to slowly replace them all but it's expensive. My mirrored heads are from Evans, as are the new heads I recently put on my snare and floor tom.
Well, I tried a zildjian cymbal cleaner just recently and it seemed to work pretty good; it's just a hell of a lot of work cleaning any cymbal though. I have one boom cymabal stand on my right side; I need it to clear my large toms.
Thanks Dude, actually started putting it together in the mid-70s; maybe it's dated to today's standards, but then again, so is a 1950s Corvette....wish I had one though!!
Definitely a beautiful set! Congratulations. I had a Chinese set once, (Zim Gar?) that had the same finish--which I still love. Black pearl? My Fibes set had a triple tom mount they called "Triple-Play". That was back in the 70's also. Maybe they stole that design from you?! One word of advice--If you go on an overseas tour, you might not want to bring the bullets and hand grenade with you on the plane!
It needs the Speed King pedals.

They are bullets. Can't buy them anywhere; made them in the early-80s.

Why no speed king pedals????? Ludwig man.
Stickgeneral524 2 years ago
Had Speed Kings in the 70s, but they broke down in the 80s, so i switched to DW...I guess I'm not a purest anymore (lol).

nice set dude. i was wondering, what do you use to clean your cymbals?
also. have you ever tried using boom cymbal stands? i think they would make you set look so much better. thanks man. keep on rockin.
