I'm SO enjoying your videos from an artist's viewpoint. I've always wondered how you get those wigs to look so natural, and I HEAR you about the hairline. I'm a portrait painter, and those hard unnatural hairlines ALWAYS bothered me. You are wonderful, thank you for satisfying my curiosity and so generously sharing your beauty secrets Misty! Julia
please tell me where you got that lace front wig? and or if you know a place to get some good ones? I have spent up to $3000. trying to get a hair line like RuPauls wigs. and I cant find anything close... can you help. big kisses from the Ocean state.....
@lexusfann The best way to find a good lace front wig is to actually try it on, usually its the shape of the hairline that matters, hopefully there is a wig store at your location. good luck!
Hello! love your videos! I wanted to know how to "root" a wig? I have been looking for vids to teach me and people i have asked never show me..Could you help?
boyish hair and I cann shake my head hard cause I feel like my wigs gonna fly off so how can I keep it on super tight so I can shake all I want I would really love it if you can do a video or something your big fan brian aka mzfetch323
Hey misty I have a question for you I am a young drag queen I've been doing drag on and off for a few months I wanted to know how to keep my wig from falling off when I twirl and go crazy shaking my head I use to have long hair but I went thur the in stlye phase and did the rihanna look then shaved one side now I have short
how can you not like lacefronts?if it is a good one, made by a theatrical wigmaker (like me)it is very real looking, alot more than some of those terrifying drag wiglines i have seen, although i have to say yours are about the best i have ever seen. The problem is the retail wigs are machine made,so you dont get a realistic hairline and the"lace"is not the right material(way too stiff and plastic)Think about Bway musicals or tours youve seen. Those are the quality u want (and you get what u pay for)
@MistyinFL you are SO right about the retail LFsThey have really brought down the image of what a LF wigshould be.I could give a dissertaion on this, lol.Its an issue. The workmanship is just not up to par with quality american (or european)handwork. You get what you pay for.I do a lower cost method of LF for drag using a full lace hairline that is worked into a storebought regular wig for like 250 and then they can do like in your demo to change looks if they dont have hair to blend into pieces.
Great Video Misty & thank you so much for sharing, I just started doing drag 4 months ago and found your channel, Its been so informative and helpful, not just for drag, but other important life issues as well. Thank you Misty
