  • could you show us how to do a wig line ive asked some girls all they told me was tease i look all over and cant figure it out, thanks :D

  • YES! so gonna work on this today :p

  • I WANT THAT HAIR! Chick that hair is EVERYTHING when you are finished with it.

  • what's your facebook page and where do you live??

  • IS THAT ALEXIS DEL A MAR !!! SHE'S MY DRAG MOTHER !

  • how do u make that old school lace look?

  • I'm SO enjoying your videos from an artist's viewpoint. I've always wondered how you get those wigs to look so natural, and I HEAR you about the hairline. I'm a portrait painter, and those hard unnatural hairlines ALWAYS bothered me. You are wonderful, thank you for satisfying my curiosity and so generously sharing your beauty secrets Misty! Julia

  • I adore you!! Thank you so much for this~!

  • I would actually love to be married to you, or live with you, Would be so fun :-), xx

  • thanks misty! this really helped me out.

  • But what if a safety pin comes undone? It can stab you in the head!!

  • please tell me where you got that lace front wig? and or if you know a place to get some good ones? I have spent up to $3000. trying to get a hair line like RuPauls wigs. and I cant find anything close... can you help. big kisses from the Ocean state.....

  • @lexusfann this is a CHEAP one I got at the Dollar store... (notice Im not wearing it in the video) I was just using it to show a technique :)

  • @MistyinFL Are you for real? That looks crazy amazing after you worked on it for being cheap!

  • @lexusfann The best way to find a good lace front wig is to actually try it on, usually its the shape of the hairline that matters, hopefully there is a wig store at your location. good luck!

  • @lexusfann E Bay the BEST prices on human hair going for under 300 dollars, troll e-bay,and THEN follow Misty's advice.

  • Hello! love your videos! I wanted to know how to "root" a wig? I have been looking for vids to teach me and people i have asked never show me..Could you help?

  • @soleildj I uploaded one yesterday

  • boyish hair and I cann shake my head hard cause I feel like my wigs gonna fly off so how can I keep it on super tight so I can shake all I want I would really love it if you can do a video or something your big fan brian aka mzfetch323

  • @mzfetch323 ask my formspring that (its at the end of this video) BUT I'll do it really soon

  • Hey misty I have a question for you I am a young drag queen I've been doing drag on and off for a few months I wanted to know how to keep my wig from falling off when I twirl and go crazy shaking my head I use to have long hair but I went thur the in stlye phase and did the rihanna look then shaved one side now I have short

  • trash bags. safety pins. I LOVE IT!!

  • This is the BEST wig tutorial EVER, Thank You for sharing some of the "secrets" you are fabulous, You should go for Drag Race..XXOO

  • @ldyreal Thank you :) I'll audition again :)

  • how can you not like lacefronts?if it is a good one, made by a theatrical wigmaker (like me)it is very real looking, alot more than some of those terrifying drag wiglines i have seen, although i have to say yours are about the best i have ever seen. The problem is the retail wigs are machine made,so you dont get a realistic hairline and the"lace"is not the right material(way too stiff and plastic)Think about Bway musicals or tours youve seen. Those are the quality u want (and you get what u pay for)

  • @WigManPhil OH YES.... REAL LACEFRONT WIGLINES are GORGEOUS... but I cannot even think about affording a real one LOL

I mearly meant that I hate the STORE BOUGHT Lacefronts that everyone wears... they are SO FAKE LOOKING :( I hate them

  • @MistyinFL you are SO right about the retail LFsThey have really brought down the image of what a LF wigshould be.I could give a dissertaion on this, lol.Its an issue. The workmanship is just not up to par with quality american (or european)handwork. You get what you pay for.I do a lower cost method of LF for drag using a full lace hairline that is worked into a storebought regular wig for like 250 and then they can do like in your demo to change looks if they dont have hair to blend into pieces.

  • @WigManPhil That would be why you are the WIGMAN :) XOXOX (btw PHIL Is my middle name)

  • Luv It...

  • great video sis!

  • how do you make the oldschool rooted hairline out of a wig that isnt a lacefront?
