  • I played the hell out of this game in the 90's, good times man...good times.

  • Lol who would of known a game with 3D polygon shapes would rock much, classic snes game

  • Wow, boss music still gets the adrenalin going. Then that feeling of elation when the level end music comes up and Fox blasts into the distance. Super difficult game, never even completed it on the easy route.

  • Troll face meteor.. Nintendo was trolling us guys.

  • bubba we jammin XD

  • @DigitalGreenTea "On June 7, 2011, at the annual E3 event during the Nintendo Q&A session, Miyamoto jokingly stated that he warned the developers that if Star Fox 64 3D was not the best game in the series, or did not make a lot of money, the franchise would have to be discontinued."

JOKINGLY STATED that he warned the developers.

  • wtf the final boss is supposed to be a demon head when using that path

  • WOW! You got some skill as far as flying and manuever, Couldn't have done better myself. :)

  • Okay, I'll say this much. This ain't got shit on Star Fox 64, but for its time....this was actually pretty fucking good. It Not the greatest graphics in the world, but its much better than Galaga.

  • Don't ya think the graphics are a bit intense for this to be a 16-bit game?

  • @xWhatTheBOOMx hell yeah, thats why its so excelent

  • fortuna was always hard as fuck for me!

  • castle vania beginning lol

  • I love this game so hard. I still think the Hard route is fairly easy though.

  • @ChaosPunksXe Because Nintendo was smart enough to know they had to do something different or die is the reason why Nintendo stood the test of time. They captured a completely untapped market. A market that made Sony and Microsoft so envious that they had to make motion control peripherals for their consoles in a poor attempt to steal Nintendo's market share. Only stupid companies like Sega and Atari keep doing the same shit over and over again until they just eventually die.

  • Peppy, what a massive pussy

  • @ChaosPunksXe People didn't think Atari or Sega would ever go away and now look? They are making their once console exclusive games for every other system.

Nintendo's time will eventually come. They cannot withstand any sort of failure. The gamecube nearly destroyed them, even with the strong GBA sales, and Bill Gates had personally offered to buy their exclusive IP's.

Wand of Gamelon debacle happened because Nintendo didn't release it on own console, plus it was a shitty game.

  • @Canadarm123 N64 was when Nintendo started to really piss off developers by still forcing them to buy parts from them for their expensive cartridge format, intern losing alot of third party support. Gamecube was the unlucky console to follow the N64, and couldn't pull Nintendo out of the rut the N64 created. It was at that time that Nintendo was smart to pull themselves out of the heat of the competition and innovate motion control into their console instead of graphics.

  • @Canadarm123 Nintendo is now sitting on a giant pile of cash and has just released the 3DS and will most likely be releasing their new home console in late 2012. The next Nintendo console is reported to be significantly more powerful than any current console and is said to be targeting the "hardcore" crowd again. Nintendo is not going anywhere.

  • @PSMovesux Being more powerful then the 360 or PS3 isn't really saying much. The XBOX 360 is 6 years old and the PS3 is 5 years old. The Wii is also 5 years old but uses the exact same technology as the Gamecube.

Current consoles GPUs were last generation PC tech at launch. GPU speeds have increased by more then 10x what they were. PC gaming will continue to happily "die" for a few more years.

  • @4RT1LL3RY Certainly power is not the most important thing, you're right on that. The fact is that Nintendo could have been doomed just like Sega, but they were way smarter. Instead of pushing the stuff that wasn't working for them anymore, they released the Wii which did something their competitors did not do, and removed them from the competition since it was not even close graphically to the other two. They grabbed a totally untapped market, made a ton of money, and made the others jealous.

  • @4RT1LL3RY On top of that Nintendo has the most popular game franchises in the world. Nintendo is not dying nor is it going anywhere. They're too smart for that. They stood firm even though the N64 almost killed them and through the Gamecube which was not good enough to put them back even in the no.2 spot in the last console race. Sony and Microsoft are arrogant. When they lose ground, they bash their competition just like Sega did, and we all know where Sega is now. Nuff said.

  • @PSMovesux No "hardcore" gamer is going to buy the Wii U...sorry.

  • @rocafella142 You're probably expecting me to get all mad and start hurling off the reasons why "hardcore" gamers will buy it, but no. You seem so sure. So tell us in your infinite wisdom why nobody will buy it so we can have you on record looking like a complete ass when the Wii U is released and you're standing in line to buy one.

  • @PSMovesux nope i didnt expect you to get mad, but i didn't expect you to start crying either. And that's because most hardcore gamers don't go for Wii because Nintendo tend to target children and they don't have violent content which is what most people are into now a days. and I never said I wasn't buying a Wii U, I said it wont appeal to many hardcore games. don't be fallacious and put words in my mouth.

  • @rocafella142 No as a matter of fact you said. "No "hardcore" gamer is going to buy the Wii U...sorry." You did not say many, you said "no" which means "none". Plus you're wrong on the reason the "hardcore" don't buy Wii. It's the graphics you idiot. The fact is that violent video games don't sell well on the Wii because everyone prefers the graphics on the other consoles and third parties don't like losing money so they often don't port them over to the Wii.

  • @PSMovesux No hardcore gamer, not many hardcore gamer whats the difference in this competitive gaming world. they wont be making much money from them is the point. And it's the games. All nintendo has to offer is Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc. and when those games are beaten what else is there to play? not a damn thing. xbox and ps has way more to offer, the graphics have little to do with it. and many people like regular controllers and not motion wii controllers.

  • @PSMovesux WiiU is not going to sell well, Nintendrone. Casuals will love it, others won't care.

  • @ChaosPunksXe Games like Carnival Games or Wii Fit, Just Dance 2 and other fitness games have outsold Metroid Prime 3, Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, Mario Party 8, Mario Strikers combined, just shows where Nintendo's money really came from this generation.

Besides Mario Kart Wii, no other Mario game has sold over 10 million copies this generation. Even Smash Bros. Brawl barely broke the 10 million mark. What's really sad? Just Dance 2 sold more copies than Super Mario Galaxy 2.

  • @ChaosPunksXe To say "never" means impossible, and in the business world, there is no such thing. Right now, the Japanese gaming industry is taking the biggest hits out of any region. It is only a matter of time before another conglomerate makes a major move.

You seem to think the video game industry will always keep going the way it is. Were you even alive during the video game crash of the late 70's and early 80's? Nintendo is walking a very fine line...

  • @ChaosPunksXe Are you a moron? sony is worth ten times what Nintendo is. Whereas Nintendo is games only, Sony is perhaps the largest electronics retailer in the world.

Also, you seem to forget back in 2004, when the gamecube was considered a flop and there was rumor Nintendo would go the way of Sega and almost be bought out. The success of the wii and ds only brought them back into profit. Let's see how it lasts. I used to think Sega wouldn't go away either. All it takes is 1 console flop...

  • @Canadarm123 You're an idiot. It takes way more than 1 unpopular console for a company to go under. Sega had one flop after another. Sega CD, 32X, Saturn, then the Dreamcast. Nintendo 64 was not the most popular console, but had enough exclusive titles to keep it relevant in it's generation. Gamecube was hardly a complete flop. It was not NO.1, but it was hardly a commercial failure. Dreamcast was a commercial failure. Gamecube was not Nintendo's biggest problem, it was the N64.

  • osea como??? yo fruste toda mi infancia tratando de pasar este juego (que estaba muy dificil) y este wey lo acaba en 19:47 min??? NO MAMAR!!!!! >(

  • Starfox SNES was awesome

  • I keep forgetting it was on SNES

  • Macbeth looks like a giant chocolate cookie after you beat the atomic base xD

  • That asteroids have trollface lol xD

  • @ChaosPunksXe yea i guess that might be true.... but if another company buyed nintendo could then use there charecters or are they just gone forever?

  • @ChaosPunksXe im sure they can just "misplace" the contract

  • hey if they are making another starfox game game soon someone plzzzz tell me i would like to know..... and why wouldent they make it for like a xbox 360 to, the controls would be alot easyer then with the wii controler

  • Some1 needs to make a remake of this game like right NOW for the wii

  • That sector x dodging session was sick! Awesome job! I just recently cleared course 3 as well. :3

  • Holy crap! This makes Star Fox 64 look like a walk in the park!

  • good game

  • This and Starfox 2 are the only good versions of this game.

  • hey einstein, im on your side!

  • jtreese5787 I actually would rather do this game. No offense to COD! It is quite cool.

  • DO A BARREL ROLL!

  • @staggus TRY A SOMERSAULT!

  • Scenes from my childhood come to my mind... good old times...

  • Wow, I didn't realize my previous comment was going to get that much love on here. I still mean that!

  • Holy shit, there's actually talking people at the end...wow...I didn't know snes games could do that

  • 7:48 WTF!?

  • @Megashadow2000 I know! What the heck was that

  • i just realized.... the ships make the same noises as the vehicles in F-Zero

  • Don't you just hate it when people put random blocks in space to block your way =\

  • RIDDDIIIDIDIDIDIII

  • andross look like a robot but i thought the andross are the andross real and had to attack the brain

  • andros for presidnt 2012: "only I have the brains to rule america!".

  • If nintendo adds this to VC I'll buy it in a heartbeat. Star Fox is my favorite series.

  • 4:43 did anyone notice the troll face?

  • @TehMeme1337 I did. It's freaky

  • @stockerk Problem?

  • @TehMeme1337 yeah. sorry about that

  • @stockerk I don't think you got my joke

  • This game is running about 1.25x faster than it actually does on the system, so the time of the TAS is technically inaccurate.

  • Are there good recent flight games ?

  • @Grognax The Ace Combat series, and uh..."The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces".

  • That first stage music still kicks your ass. Love it.

  • ahhh.. this handsom frog i love to rescue him he always gets in trubble ....No.. wait .. i let him DIE!!

  • Please, Nintendo... Virtual Console.

  • this game is hard, i prefer star fox 64 lol

  • @iEMPBomb Me too.

  • @iEMPBomb

I'LL TAKE THIS ONE, GET THE ONES BEHIND ME!

  • @iEMPBomb Think this is hard? Try The sequel on expert mode!

  • @iEMPBomb Then you are not a true pilot.

  • Raped, plain n' simple.

  • Perfect Work Congratulations Brother !!!

  • play star fox much?

  • this game is freekin hard, :P

  • Flashback- I remember playing this back in the day! But Mariokart ruled the SNES!

  • Tool-assisted as in what? I know you can TA Touhou for slower FPS, but this flying and shooting, is it somehow TA'd, too?

  • @zongzu Slowdown, frame by frame, save states.

  • o man its so entertaining watching how good you fly and shoot

  • sonics better then this shit

  • Comment removed

  • @sonicfanman1997 nope..

  • Love this game! Great job at clearing the game under 20 minutes

  • wow...all i can say is do a barrel roll-roll-roll! oh you did that...

i hope the TAS is just because of recording..

  • Man you're so awesome at this game!!!

  • @MDthornton83 It's a TAS... do you know what a TAS is? It says what it is the video's description. Anyone could use a TAS to look skilled, the trick to a good TAS time isn't skill, it's finding as many exploits and shortcuts as you can.

  • Well excuse me!

  • @MDthornton83 Excused :)

  • Wow...dodrio got owned!!

  • If fox could play the game it would look like this video haha

  • i have this for my snes but its really slow why is that?

  • @flyinportopotty The game is supposed to run at 20 fps, but because of lag on an actual SNES it really runs at more like 10 to 15 fps. The emulator eliminates most of the lag, though. That's why the music, which was programmed to sync on an SNES with lag, doesn't sync well on an emulator.

  • @YtterbiJum SO is that why sometimes, when you remember a particular track on an older title, it sometimes sounds... off?

  • @IronwolfWS6 Err... I didn't mean "cheated." I mean without outside assistance. It looks like he played this is one go (the point of a TAS). Sorry about that.

  • Someone, for the love of GOD DO A BARREL ROLL!!!!!!

  • Holy shit you have to be the best Star Fox player ever. Ridiculous...

  • @IronwolfWS6 TAS lol. He used save states and whatnot to make the best run possible so that it presents awesome ability without looking cheated. It's also quite entertaining.

This probably took many many hours to do even though the total time to beat the game is minimal.

  • why didnt you play on hard

  • @ninenickelz It was played on the hardest difficulty (Level 3).

  • Those asteroids be trollin

  • crazy flying skills man

  • I miss the Super FX chip.

  • Debe Deb Deb Deb

  • Anyone else think Fox isn't piloting his Arwing, but is actually kicking back and realxing while his Arwing does all the fancy crap? o_o

  • @Seer241 relaxing*

  • He never wastes a shot...

  • wow its incredible how the snes can do this graphics without lagging!! yeah 3d!!!

    ps:DO A BARREL ROLL

  • buh da buh du buh da?

    buh du buh duba!

  • Dib dibbi Dib Dibbi

  • ala PUTA!!

    +1

  • Is this the ntsc version? The pal version is the slower one? That's the one i had... very slow .. but still great

  • @123TauruZ321 he's playing on an emulator with tool assists

  • @BillxMach Of course i know that! But my snes version when i was young, was quite a bit slower and actually laggy at some points.

  • @123TauruZ321 That's just the way it is. it was not supposed to go beyond 60 FPS when playing. This was the first of it's kind, and 3D was a totally new experience and no one saw it on a home console yet. The super FX chip combines polygonal trigonometry and the snes's mode 7 graphic scaling capabilities to spawn what became StarFox.

  • dude i cant even pass the firs mission!

  • @profevladimir I can give you some tips, if you want.

  • @profevladimir XD

i dont get the contrlos i dont control them pretty well

i play in a emulator whit PC controller

  • Mind you own business, Fox

  • who left all these power ups in space that are made for arwings?

  • @Wilfilco lol

  • I'm always impressed by how good people can get at these games. Even if it is a TAS, that ducking, weaving, and that shooting at the right time is just amazing.

    Very well done.

  • YOU MADE THIS GAME EASY >:O

  • This is actually quite impressive looking...considering when it was made.

  • Dude, how were you weaving between stuff with ease, lol. You're a beast. Btw, I do think SF64 is better, but this is still amazing for it's time.

  • Oh wow, this really brings back memories. I miss having a SNES! :(

  • Such a amazing game!

  • lol i remember renting this one weekend when i was a kid, that friday evening i was really mad, thought i picked a bad game, by sunday i was just loving it and have been a starfox fan ever since :)

  • this game was ahead of his times...
