why do people criticize others for not having the Hemi or Srt8 model? Not everybody has the cash to just drop on the bigger engine for just to impress everyone else. I purposely got the small v6 Magnum because I communte 200 miles per day and I'm also a DJ so I needed the extra space that the Magnum gives in the carg area. This Summer when (2011) when gas goes up to $5 per gallon all those V8 guys will have their Magnums parked in the driveway.

@avp0713 Because the V6 can't get out of it's own way, and isn't any faster than a stock PT Cruiser. And they've said gas would go over $5 a gallon a few times... so far this summer it's dropped here... $4.10 down to $3.60. Even at the highest I still put Premium in.
@avp0713 Not that I criticize others for not having an RT/SRT, but I do have to say I learned from my friend with the V6 charger not to get one and regret not having the hemi. Plus I never have to park mine, even with the long (albeit not as long as yours) commute I have. That is because if I stay off of it, my RT will get 25-26mpg highway (best tank ever of 26.5mpg) and I still have the power to if/when I want/need it while having that gas mileage that matches what he usually gets in his SXT.

I have the SXT 6 as well, just got it last april. I did similar paint on the motor but went with chrome braid hoses and chrome wire loom. Doing the block in the summer. Then custom body stuff later. Last 3 cars I had got crushed within a month of finishing paint/body stuff. Now I'm a little paranoid.

@ 82 Starkey - Air Ride. I am running the EasyStreet Autopilot system with dual compressors and 5 Gal. tank. Wheels are 245x35x22. Thanks on the front. Since it is so far removed from stock, some like and some do not. Just a matter of taste. Thanks for the comments.

the grille looks sweet ,,, thats typically the only thing i have never liked about these cars was the front grille,,, and those "strut" grilles are gaudy and cheezy looking,, but this one looks dope,very "european" i would say. that looks bad ass nicely done .

@ 82 Starkey - Air Ride. I am running the EasyStreet Autopilot system with dual compressors and 5 Gal. tank. Wheels are 245x35x22. Thanks on the front. Since it is so far removed from stock, some like and some do not. Just a matter of taste. Thanks for the comments.

@ciscofcali the magnums sister car is the benz E-55 but it has a rear facing third row so yeah one will fit though for head room may need to remove the cover for the storage in the floor

the grille looks sweet ,,, thats typically the only thing i have never liked about these cars was the front grille,,, and those "strut" grilles are gaudy and cheezy looking,, but this one looks dope,very "european" i would say. that looks bad ass nicely done .
