Impressive, most impressive, to quote another warrior from a far away galaxy. One can tell you are used to handle a nunchaku or a sword, but the way you apply this techniques to this klingon weapon is amazing. Did you built it yourself or is it one of those that were released under a Star Trek franchise ? If it is so, they seem to be well balanced !
Use a dummy to chop into. It feels totally different hitting something. Twirling around is just for show. If you were to use it in a fight. You leave yourself open.
@Socrates3141 I found it a little bit awkward for the first hour or so I was playing around with it, but then I started to get a sense for how it moves. I still have less than 3 hours practice with it, but it feels natural/intuitive now. That may be because I can apply training from other weapons to it. Some of the techniques in this video are just 2-handed sword and nunchaku techniques applied to the batleth.

Love to see you twirl a full weight steel bat'leth. . . I've seen it done, but it takes strong wrists. . .

Good video, but let's be honest, that's not a full weight stainless steel bat'leth.

Did you find the batleth to be an intuitive weapon or did it take alot of playing around with it before you got the hang of it?
