I see alot of the comments involve agression regarding the truth about WW2.I say stop fighting. The war was a terrible thing and there was casualties on all sides of the conflict. But to try to exterminate millions of people for their religion, political ideas, cultural life, and their physical- and mental health, well that is something that can't ever be forgotten or forgiven.

my grandfather fought in Albania back then , they went back from the Albania Front by Feet to Larisa , from there they came and took them with Horses , Donkeys and a few Trucks back to Athens.

It does not surprise me that you never heard about so many Croatian partisans. NDH was a puppet state installed by Germany after occupation of Yugoslavia. Same with Nedic Serbia.
However NDH had larger influence, and according to American and Israeli historical museum, hundreds of thousands people were killed by the NDH (historians tend to disagree about correct numbers).

I see alot of the comments involve agression regarding the truth about WW2.I say stop fighting. The war was a terrible thing and there was casualties on all sides of the conflict. It does not surprise me that you never heard about so many Croatian partisans. NDH was a puppet state installed by Germany after occupation of Yugoslavia. Same with Nedic Serbia.
However NDH had larger influence, and according to American and Israeli historical museum, hundreds of thousands people were killed by the NDH (historians tend to disagree about correct numbers).
I know my history, and I am not spreading propaganda. I am informing. those who obviously do not know their history.

And those are only SOME of the most famous Croat anti-nazis. You are implying that they were all Serbs?

Dalmatia and Sisak weren't populated by Croats, but by Serbs? My grandfathers, Croat and partisans (not communist, but Tito was the only choice they had) were Serbs? Entire Croatian villages and towns who stood up against the nazis (Croatia was completely divided by the end of the war)?

Nevertheless, just because partisans fought against the Axis-doesn't mean we should forget the war crimes.. At the end of the war-Yugoslavia was ethnically cleansed from Germans and Italians. POW's were massively executed without a trial.
That is history. It ain't pretty. But it's history.

Actually, Google is a great source. You can find anything there, including official American and Jewish holocaust museums. Historical documents. Everything. I do not ''believe'' . I look at evidences, and they pretty much confirm everything I said. If I said something wrong, correct me and back it up with evidences.
That's ''in my blood''? I am not in any way related to Josip Broz Tito, and even if he was my grandfather, that would still have nothing to do with me.

At first you irrationally tried to represent most partisans as Serbs (and denied all those Croat partisans), but when I wrote about partisan war crimes, you immediately stopped defending them and said ''oh yeah they were all Croats''. Actually, no. Facts speak differently. By the end of the war, most of the partisans were Croats. By the percent, more than 60% of the partisans were Croats and most of famous partisans were Croats (those I already listed). Google it (but not Wikipedia-it's unreliable and I never use it).
Why does it matter so much to you? What are you trying to prove?

I do not believe everything on the internet and I do not use forums much. I do not simply ''believe''. I am an atheist. I am very aware of falsified information, conspiracy theorist (including holocaust deniers, Flat Earth Society and David Iche)
But, Holocaust Museums and plenty of educated historians are indeed reliable and there is no reason for me not to trust them.
The same reason why I ''believe'' in evolution. Facts are simply there.

I know that history is written by a winner. But massive media and information can inform you. History is almost impossible to be erased in the modern age. We are aware of all Allied crimes during WW2. Bombings of Euorpe and Japan (especially nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki), massive rape of German women by Soviet troops...it is all known. And there are evidences for all those claims.
Your claims cannot be backed up by evidence.

in Greco-Italian war took place a battle called "Battle of Hill 731" or "aerial attack",that was much more glorious than Thermopylea cause Greeks where on the top of a hill outnumbered,inferior armed,bombed by airforce,artillery for 7 days with thousands of bombs and infantry attacks. Italians didnt take not even 1 meter of that hill.

@kokotselos Well, considering that Italians were and still are lovers and not fighters, it doesn't surprise me that they lost to Greeks. Greeks gave a great resistance for their freedom, while Italians... Well, they wanted mostly to screw Greek women... It's who they are! :)
