baseball and football are both baller. they are both good in their own ways. when i watch baseball in the postseason (best time for baseball) it drives me nuts watching the low scoring games, knowing one swing or two and it's tied or my team blew the lead etc. football shores up the need for physical contact and the fact it's incredibly tactical. gotta love madden.

anyway GO YANKS Cano is really coming into his own self this year even if he needs to get more RBIs.

Some people prefer to watch a 6 month pennant race, instead of watching ONE game per week. And when we see homeruns, they are actually homeruns with almost no contestations. It seems like almost every touchdown or even every play in football is in contest, making every football game in the hypothetical twilight zone under review from the powers that be. Plus, baseball is enjoyed by NYC, the most advanced city in North America, football is enjoyed primarily by hicks and hillbillies.

If you're accusing all the good baseball players to be on roids, then it is guaranteed that EVERYONE in football is juiced, good or bad. And best of all, nobody minds when a football player is caught juicing, but when a baseball player is caught, it is a national scandal. Makes sense, football needs the roids since it is all about brute strength and brutal violence to make it entertaining, baseball does not have that so people disapprove of steroids.

Not only that, the greatest players from every country want to play here, giving us, by a wide margin, the highest level leagues of all three.

My point is, we as Americans are so lucky to have both baseball and football (and basketball) to enjoy, and it seems so pointless to talk shit about either one. It's like trying to put down a lobster meal to prop up a fancy steak or vice versa. Especially when you consider the fact that there are people in European and South American countries that have neither baseball or football, and only soccer.
