In 2002, I was actually a little disappointed when I heard this song and album, because "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence" and "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" were incredible releases. I love the Bad Brains meets Quicksand sound of Glassjaw's earlier efforts.

Daryl is named by many of todays post hardcore scene vocalists as A MAJOR INFLUENCE (Letlive, Devil Sold His Soul, Hopesfall in their late period, BMTH and others) ... I admit it is tough to get into his style BECAUSE it is so different but it is nonetheless intruiging and breaking boundaries of what has come and will come... PEACE

@yogeesunshine raw guitar tone, off time, chaotic vocal melodies, diminished and percussive playing. Daryl Screams bloody murder. They have a lot of similarities with Deftones and later Finch. Check out the new EP and song called "All Good Junkies Go To Heaven"..really good shit. "Jesus Glue" is very reminiscent of older Deftones. "Stars" sounds like audio broadcasted murder.

Glassjaw has always been a relatively less known band in comparison to the three I mentioned, but they were just as stand alone as any major influencing band.
