I find it very weird that Amuro and Fraw aren't together. I know it was implied that Hyato was interested in Fraw near the end of the MS series, but Amuro and Fraw seemed far more likely. As for Amuro having "a thing" for Sayla, this was never even hinted at before. They piloted suits together a lot in the MS series, but that's about it. They hardly even spoke to each other about things that didn't have to do with mobile suits. There's just not much of a foundation there.
