ok 2 questions?? 1 is..if i have an (unlocked iphone) i wont be able to just slip my sim card into the phone without a stealth sim card or whatever you call it..& 2nd is when the phone is unlocked will i be able to use the internet on the phone?

I think that if you have an unlocked phone you can use any SIM you want. And you can use Wi-Fi and if the network supports it then 3G aswell.

Ok now show a video on how to take it out because i got mine stuck and had to take off the screen and open the phone to get my sim card. So prove how to or even if it can be done. The black exposed chip is too thick to take out of the phone.

Whats up yessim, Im located in Canada,Ontario i currently have an N95 from last year, and im looking forward the Iphone3g but im looking for the unlocked, so i can just put my current sim card into it, what do u recommend to do. and how much would it be unlocked? and i think i notice in the other video theres a 514 number (montreal) any more info on that?

It's still a rip off, and there isn't much point to it anyway since we do have an iPhone in Canada. If you travel a lot, you probably have another unlocked phone to use. $99 just isn't worth it for what it does now. $10 is more like it.

I have one. It works. Just that for mine the data doesn't work. all calls and text works just fine.

Rogers and Fido are available on the Canadian iPhone. You can take out a Rogers SIM and put in a Fido one. I've tried. I have an account with Rogers, but my friend has one with Fido, and all I did was switch the SIMs.

I'll believe this when I see the iPhone running with T-Mobile in the US with the POS product shown here.

Until then, fuck off and quit trying to rip people off.

Its simply pathetic when you talk about things you dont even know. FYI, you can inset a Fido sim into a Rogers unit and vice versa, but you can wait forever and it will not pick up any signals.

IMO, grow up and be mature instead of insulting ppl when you are simply making a fool out of yourself by talking about things that you "think" you know.

To clear our doubt and proof it's 100% working, pls includes the following in the video:

The model number in SETTING->GENERAL->ABOUT (to show it's not the official unlock version, as all the *sim will work in official unlock version)

Test with 3 sim-card (Official Sim-card, Unofficial Sim-card & Unofficial Sim-card with *sim)

That way, pple will be sure it's work !!!

Did you watch the whole video? Please watch carefully, we did test with 3 different SIM Card (Rogers, Fido & T-Mobile).

Rogers works because the iPhone 3G is locked to Rogers.

Fido didn't work because the iPhone 3G is locked to Rogers.

T-Mobile with YESSIM work because it is unlocked.

I emailed yessim and got a confusing answer on my question.

Question: Do I need to do something to my new, untouched iPhone 3G first before I can use Yessim?

Answer I got: Yes you will just have to put the yessim with the sim card you want to use in your country does not matter of the operator.

Ehh.. Did I have to do something first?? I sent a new mail but no answer yet. Meanwhile I now see on their Yessim iPhone 3G page that they added: "iPhone 3G must be Jailbreaked!" That confuses me!

In Canada, iPhone is locked to Rogers or Fido. Therefore, you will have to get it unlock if you want to use with with other GSM Service Providers.
