They were scenes made for a test audience. The reactions of the audience were the reasons of keeping some scenes out. There were scenes of Caleb with stripes in his face, but children in the audience thought he was badly shaven. And it would be a problem on earth having those stripes. But Caleb had some magic power in the comic, like phasing through walls. So he could make his stripes disappear as well if Disney allowed him to.

I read about Orube and Ellyon betraying Cornelia by falling in luv with Caleb on wikepedia and google. On the show none of that happens. Plus where I live they dont have anymore books available

There are no rumours about making a third season. It's just what fans want to see happening. And you can contribute by making a petition to disney. It wouldn't be the first time new episodes are created due to public demand.
