  • We all make mistakes and we all have to pay for those mistakes. If a parent makes a mistake they must answer to CAS, but if CAS makes a mistake who do they have to answer to? And that is the question that needs to be answered. According to CAS a parent is guilty until proven innocent, but a criminal is innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.

  • @MultiLovingmommy Well said, we are not holding rallies so shut the CAS down, Child Protection is Needed , but it has to be done in a manner thats fare to all. When a system like children's aid becomes powerful, the risk for abusing that power increases making the system flawed and dangerous to people who comes in contact with it. And when it becomes powerful and starts playing god with people lives is a clear sign their is a problem.

  • If the CAS was GOV ran, would over 505 kids in Ontario died in there care?

  • This ralley is very important. I wish people would educate themselves and submit helpful comments rather then negative imputes that not only frustrates people but also lures the attention away from the real matter at hand, which in this case is about CAS oversight. Everyone who I have spoke with believes that child protection is needed, but with strong accountability. No one is saying "get rid of CAS', but rather make them answer for their mistakes, and believe me people they do make mistakes.

  • of their wallets the children would be better off. I went to the CAS for help from my abuser, guess what they didnt help. Theyre one of the biggest waiste of tax payers money, The children are the ones who suffer. MOst of the times its a false claim against someone like my sister who does everything right but the lies of some conniving snaggle tooth, makes situtaions seem what they are not

  • @lolatu31 that girl happens to be my SISTER. Listen here!! SHe is an excellent mother, maybe you should learn your facts before you go and blast someone for doing something actually worth while. Just because you think you know a situation youre just speculating. There are tons of children who are placed in foster care and abused sexually and physically, passed around like a wet rag. The CAS is the worse thing for families, maybe if they actually tried to help the children instead......

  • No abuse, neglect, no consideration of my proper responsive declaration and highly credible witnesses: my child was INSTANTLY abducted 9 months ago by our Family Law Industrialists, and in a lingering forced protraction I have been rendered broke (in several ways).

I am SO PROUD of your activism and fight! Your good and brave work buoys me up in a difficult battle for my, and ALL, children. My little video is on althepal55, my story is on Google site: Alan Ernesto Phillips

    In Solidarity, Alan

  • I am sure that I could not do their job (CAS) so I have a great appreciation for those who can. I wish these people who are demonstrating would not put down the whole organization for a currupt few.

  • Anna Bozza $104,733.00 Ione Clapham $104,733.00 Bonnie Filipchuk $104,961.00 Leah Maves $120,300.00 Susan May $104,733.00 Brian Minard $124,755.00 Donald Neufeld $115,466.00 Marion Seymour-Lichty $105,933.00 ____________________________________ TOTAL $2,012.826.00 *NOTE: This is only 5% of FACS NIAGARA STAFF This is where Children's Aid Puts It's Money, dont kid yourself people of Ontario, Helping kids is Not the CAS's best interest, it's making money.
  • @bluejay123ish @bluejay123ish CAS is clearly just all "smoke and mirrors", just another way for FACS NIAGARA to line the top wigs pockets. If money was such a problem, what are the top brass of FACS NIAGARA walking away with mind blowing wages. Christopher Steven -Executive Director of Facs Niagara $164,886.00 dollars a Year, Lynda Filbert - Director $123,567.00 dollars a Year, Linda Henry - Senior Counsel and Supervisor of Legal $106,512.00 dollars, must I go on, Mmmm Lets

  • @bluejay123ish

That is not the point of this ralley. The point is to fight for the rights of parents and to make sure CAS is accountable for their mistakes.

  • I am sure that the CAS does not take a child away from their family and homes lightly. And the stress effects everyone one involved, including the CAS workers that have to do it. Working for the CAS is a very hard and thankless job.....and I believe that they only have the best interests of the children in their hearts. While I agree that there should be some accountability I'm not sure this is not the way to go about it.

  • These people are a joke!! They claim that Children's Aid Society ruins families and lives but it is irresponsible perents like them who ruin families and their childrens lives. See the pregnant girl in the blue coat smoking. How good for her baby. What a way to advertise to the community that you are a dead beat and lost your kids. GO FACS!!!

  • @lolatu31 .. Im sure you are a FACS LOVER, but because you made your youtube account to make this post, Regardless, I looked at the Video and the girl in the blue coat was a passerby who stopped at the Rally and decided to help out. We did talk with this girl and she is NOT PREGNANT, so you need to get your FACS right before posting.. If you need proof that CAS rips families apart let me know and we will hook up. Hope to hear from you soon

  • @lolatu31 Oh and also for the record, not all out members have lost there kids to the CAS, Infact we have are kids and some dont even have kids but want to change a system for the better. Reseach it LOLATU, 505 kids have died in CAS Care in just 5 years, pray to god one day it wont be your child or a family members child joining the list of the 505 to date
