Kristen is my favourite actress because I can relate to her with stupid little things & I want to be an actress but some actors are casted into certain roles, playing depressed teens might be Kristen's strongest acting point. But I get where your coming from. It's like, you only really see ashton kutcher doing comedy roles, Leonardo dicaprio doing dramatic roles, selena gomez doing family movies/programme roles:) I hope that made sense & I don't sound like I'm rambling.

For example, fear of spiders is not a natural reaction until someone else freaks out, or you get bit by one or one pops out of your shoe, etc. That thing on the ceiling wouldn't be scary to a baby because he has no context to put it in yet.

@Maxcloudy i often wonder how they actually rationalize that process to a child that young. Because as idealistically nice as it is to imagine, he has no idea what's going on at that age. But his facial expressions are quite good. They must have given him stimuli to play off of. It would produce the most natural reactions. It's likely that's what they had to do. Children that young can't even pass the self-awareness test. Most kids fail that until 3 or 4
