  • i was in a tourney where a guy was open limping a ton; but he was really good at reading flops and he knew when to fold. he would win a ton of hands with marginal holdings. he rarely raised pre flop, just limping and even calling raises. this goes against good strategy but the guy made the final table. has anyone seen this type of play work in a tourney?

  • guy seems smart... but maybe show some hands where u DONT hit 2 pair???

  • you are one of those donks that is being babysit by donkeystars *pokerstars*

  • graph or it didnt happen

  • loose AND passive

  • that dude prolly had AK vs ur AQ and u sucked out hard

  • this has to be set up right, your always playing Villian LP, LP for loose passive?? And you seem to be doubling up every good hand. I think you exaggerate the nature of a loose passive player too much.

  • i agree its easy when you get to pair every time

  • I tried this and he was like yeah man lets go all in man so I went all in and found out I was beaten by five of a kind and got really mad and stuff and went on a destructive obsessive trauma and ended up gay and stuff.

  • This is retarded betting full pots won't get you value everytime. Show what cards they folded and we can see if you donked out vs better kickers or overpairs.

  • exactly what he just said. NEVER try to bluff loose passive retards.. you will get called. Value bet them extremely thin. they will call with almost nothing

  • and just...

  • @MrCrunchy29 exactly.. because when you have no hand then your only move vs a calling station is check/fold.

  • That's fine when you're hitting the flop and 2 pair hands but most of the time if you 3 barrel with just TP/TK or TP/WK, you're not going to get called down even by most fish. I find a lot of loose passive players will call you with sometimes any two cards pre-flop but only continue on the flop if they hit two pair or better because they know TAGs are usually betting with over-cards or TP/TK.

  • Thanks for the post friend! Fun and helpful :) I also happen to have a video up for my fellow newbies to online poker out there that basically goes over and shows you how to develop and EXTREMELY BASIC but mathematically sound strategy. This way you can hopefully keep your initial deposit longer than a month :) And consequently develop a better game by playing more! Anyway thanks again for the post! Here's wishing you the best of luck!

  • IF YOU LISTEN IN THE BACKGROUND, THE GUY IS PLAYING ALL THE POSITIONS, YOU CAN HEAR HIM CLICK FOR ALL THE PLAYERS. THIS WAS A GOOD INFO VIDEO BUT PLAY ON POKERSTARS AGAINST REAL PLAYERS NOT YOURSELF.

  • @DS10940 this is not an actual live session, it is him reviewing old hands

  • @DS10940 hahahahahaah retard.

  • @DS10940 how can he play all the positions what th hell are you talking about?

  • @DS10940

dude he is in his hand history revieuwing the hand retard. why TYP ALL IN CAPS?

  • If you get 2 pair every hand it's not that hard to win

  • @cricketonastick he's showing example hands and how to play when you have a hand

  • If you get 2 pair every hand it's not that hard to win

  • I would've played it the same way... I gess.

I just didn't knowa value bet should be about 2 third of the pot, I'm used to bet the pot..

I know it's a pretty abvious proportionality rule, I've never noticed than you would lose 108$ instead of just 77$, now it makes sens. If you're willing to go all-in on the river you can still win big and lose little less.

You should've explained WHY you bet 2 third of the pot for value.

  • shuffle up and deal

  • I disagree with the "Value bet" with AA on the turn. Even loose passive fish aren't going to call with much that we beat on a pretty dry board like that, so we are either betting out the hands we're ahead of or we are way behind and we get c/r or flatted then face a donkbet on river or we valuetown ourselves. Now if we check the turn we get a lot of value on the river by sheriff calls with hands like 8's 9's etc, or if he pots it we can easily let go.

  • Hey there guys =) For a great online poker school and a free 50$ no deposit bonus take a look at my video... you might find it useful.

    watch?v=4y_nQLVB07g

  • funny how pocket aces aren't that good cards because the player next to you would get three of a kind because online poker is gay...

  • u double up with AQ and the next hand we see u've lost it again, to the guy that doubled u up.. lmao why not showing that hand?

  • @ensorceler I think he played the hand well, raise preflop, raise flop, raise turn to know how he stands with his aces. Althought Aces are that good preflop, theyre still just a pair and though loose their value as the hand continues. On the other hand, i would consider calling his show cause LP player wouldnt have called King high flop but rather raised it. Turn gave him a great opportunity to bluff. I see him rather valuebetting than showeing all in. Dunno, just guessing

  • I'd check behind that 3c. fish like that aren't that common nowadays..

  • why do you raise too 6x the blind?

  • @britewired

I do the same in a 6 max with others to act after me, when someone has limped. Like he said you want to isolate the weak player.

  • @avargas1986 I just 2x it in every position... early because I can call 3bets lighter and have a good option to 4-bet AQ AK JJ QQ without risking my whole stack. I isolate by 3-betting.. What if you 6x it and you're facing a 3-bet of say 19BB? Then you have a lot of your stack in on the C-bet of 4/5 pot... then you're facing a shove a lot from your opponent and get a though decision....

I get it where you're going with that play, but I don't think it suits my style of play.

  • Make sure to watch in Full Screen so you can see everything clearly!

  • very nice
