weaseldragon- perhaps using that logic they're all playing with tapes, coz much of this and remake /remodel is note for note.! One things for sure , if she is faking it , she is also a very fine actress.Muppet . Actually I take that back , I liked the muppets. Why are there always people who just HAVE to find fault . . . .
Thanks, for the video. That must have been the greatest show. I sure wish I could have been their, as i was watching this I went into to the happy place i was was in my 20's. Thanks again, they are one of the BEST
This was always the case with Roxy Music , their live performances exceeded their studio recordings . But this should be expected with any band that can actually play . If all bands performed live to this standard there would be no problem with file shareing because most of their money would be made from touring and ticket sales . Make bands work for their money , we want to see them so get out on the road !! Record companies expect to make a fortune out of one hit song ! WHY?
Yeah, I was actually just going to comment that the violin solo is Jobson's original, duplicated absolutely note for note...the bass line is also duplicated, for that matter. I actually think is from as recently as their huge world tour in, I believe, 2002
The violin solo here is amazingly note for note. If you look at the video of Remake Remodel, Lucy Wilkins even recreates Eno's synthesizer noise note for note. Now she's either the most amazing copycat musical genius ever, or.....
sooo cool. but when was this show??? looks like 90's or later. Ferry must be a vampire, cause he hasn't aged as much as Manzanera or mackay. And interesting how the girl plays the Jobson solo almost verbatim. Saw them in BC in '83....awesome.
Sorry, this is boring. It's been mixed for dvd and the Great Paul Thompson's drums sound like small cardboard boxes. A cabaret version of one of the greatest bands of all time!
Y'know... I was gutted that she didn't play at the My Life Story comeback gig last Friday..... Still, the two Rebeccas took some beating for sheer foxiness!
