God IS merciful. In the Old Testament, people got punished by Him because they disobeyed Him. It still happens today just in different ways. If you disobey your parents, there's gonna be consequences. If you disobey your teachers, theres gonna be consequeces. Its the same thing with God.

My advice to you is to read the New Testament. And pray. I dont know who you are, but I'm gonna be praying that you'll realize that God loves you no matter what. God bless.

i heard this song on the radio one day and when i heard the song it brought me to tears because it made me think about all of the sins that i had commited against my family and my lord and savior jesus christ and when all of that shame hit me it brought me to my knees in front of god and he had me begging for forgiveness for all of the sins that i had commited against my family i am so grateful that both my dad and jesus christ still call me son after everything that i've done

Yes I am a sinner, but I know that through forgiveness and grace I will be saved. I love God and there is none that can shake my faith. Not even you, if you knew that battles I face/the battles I've overcome then you would know that there is a God.

In the Old Testament if you read it correctly (the hebrew version) you will come to find that he swept the evil people off of the earth in order to help save the good, so that the evil would not corrupt them, however the world will never be perfect until the second coming. Now let me ask you this, what would it take for you to believe that there is a God? By the second coming you will know it but by then it'll be too late.
