question, i installed the drop blocks in the back they worked out great, i have a chevy lean the passenger side is about 1 inch higher than the driver side, so the belltech coil springs came with the spacers but should i put the spacer on the coil on the driver side to lift it up or do i put the spacer on both sides? and does the coil spacer lift the back too, because my truck is lower in the front and back side of the driver. thank you for all the help

@savestheeday I could of just notched the frame (already bought the c-notches) and just rolled the front fenders, but I was ready for it to be a little higher. My turning radius was cut in half and I had to avoid the interstate. Not to mention the pinion angle of my driveshaft was off.even with the highest pinion wedges I could find, I had to replace the ujoints twice. I used to deliver Pizzas with my truck sitting 5/6.the very first time I went down a driveway I got stuck for 45 minutes! lol
@wideopenthrottle666 blocks go on top of the leaf springs and the axle rests on them. The blocks push the axle up closer to the body which gives it the appearance of being lower. Simple really. U still have a suspension its just stiffer. Very little bounce.
oh and when you got it at 5/6 does the front clear parking blocks? cus i always hit them mother fuckers with my front tires n i dont want to hit my bumper haha

@graffwriter17 natuarly the 4cyl will get better mpg but being an auto takes out that factor because sticks get way better mpg because it dosent consume extra fuel to shift itself and sticks have so many more advantages over auto's like downshifting for speed down shifting for slowing down to save your brakes and it just feels better driving a stick

I have a real '96 (the rarest year) S10 SS and hate when people think the badges are fake because so many kids stick them on their project truck. i have a s10 xtreme and i wanna get a 3/3 kit for it (shocks, blocks) its sits kinda low as it is though, so im thinking that 3/3 or even a 3/4 will be to much, i already cut the bump stops off but not the brackets.
@trailertrash20010 if you put 3" drop spring in the front of an Xtreme it will only drop the truck 1.5 inches. The stock springs on Xtremes are a 1.5" drop sping. Your best bet would be a 2/3 with spindles up front and blocks out back.
dude my u bolts are the same distance from the ground as urs cept i only got a 4 in the back and im afraid to go lower cause of them hitting, i just did shocks and block in the back too.

Hey man, i have a 1995 S10 and i was wonderin where i can get a stock front bumper. i have an aftermarket bumper now that hangs lower than the rest of the truck. Im getting it bagged (Air Ride Suspension) and if i drop the truck all the way down it'll crack the bumper thats on it now. Let me kno where i can get a STOCK bumper if u can. Thanks buddy.
this is probably the nicest s10 i've seen. it aint like some others who really go over board with it. ya know? its perfect. i have the same truck...vertually the same. color might be a bit darker, but it needs a totally new paint job as the sides are litered with scratches, thankfully not deep ones. i'm thinking something a bit darker, but something thats classy and catches peoples attention. and i dont like the "extreme" chevy parts..only the rims. thats mainly why i think yours is killer.

i did a 3/4 drop only took me about 2 hours. to do the front springs the easiest way is to drop the lower control arm from the frame use 2 jacks to lower it so its easier to put in place when puting them back in
thats nice and clean i have a 96 s-10 about 2 inches off the ground getting ready to put a small block v8 in her with bags in sted of the lowering blocks and all that.
nice truck did a 2/3 drop last november but im wanting to go lower now.probably gonna lower it in the front with smaller springs and put bigger tapered blocks in the back.check it out on my page.
I like it keep it clean like that dont do the gay ass paint scheme that most mini and low rider guys do.... keep it simple and clean and get that LS1 in there ASAP or go with a easyier to install carbed 350 or 400.

@iisjroc when he said he rolled the fenders alot he meant that he rolled the inside of the fenders because there is a lip on the outer fender that will rub on your tire if you dont have the right offset wheel or to big of a tire. its not always necessary but it depends on how low you go and what kind of wheel and tire package.
im doing a 4/5 drop but i would like to go lower also. Two Q's did you have to raise it when you get it inspected and how did the 5/6 ride on the front with stock wheels work out any rubbing?

thats nice and clean i have a 96 s-10 about 2 inches off the ground getting ready to put a small block v8 in her with bags in sted of the lowering blocks and all that.

I wish I could go lower than 3/4 but the roads are horrible and there is no even pavement around here. Looks good, even with the huge mirrors

nice truck did a 2/3 drop last november but im wanting to go lower now.probably gonna lower it in the front with smaller springs and put bigger tapered blocks in the back.check it out on my page.

I like it keep it clean like that dont do the gay ass paint scheme that most mini and low rider guys do.... keep it simple and clean and get that LS1 in there ASAP or go with a easyier to install carbed 350 or 400.

@iisjroc when he said he rolled the fenders alot he meant that he rolled the inside of the fenders because there is a lip on the outer fender that will rub on your tire if you dont have the right offset wheel or to big of a tire. its not always necessary but it depends on how low you go and what kind of wheel and tire package.

You see it my way. I love sonoma's, s10's and especially tacomas. I think mini trucks are fun but I hate the ones that go so far down like this one. a 1 inch drop is good. And nice, my dad has a ford bronco with a 6 inch lift 35 inch tires. And he always ends up getting a chevy k5 blazer and getting it ready for rock crawling then selling it. He's looking to lift my 89 sierra for when I get my license.
