Hey try turning the console off,including the switch in the back.When you turn it back on manually press and hold the on button.You will see the light turn on but keep holding it down till it beeps again.Its a manual reset.If that doesnt work you may have to send it in to sony.Never heard of that problem.You might have one of the .2% that fail lol.That would really suck.
