Hey mate, how big of a difference is there in sound quality between this and the Razer Carcharias? While I do want a gaming headphone, I tend to use them more for general tunes. I don't mind spending a little bit extra for the Megalodon, but I just wanted to ask if its worth it in your opinion?

@MDSJudicator The megalodon is a 7.1 surround heaset. The carcharias, having nearly the same design, is only 2.0 if im not mistaken.

Razer is releasing the Razer Tiamat soon... i would advise u to wait just a little and get a brand new one.

I have the Megalodons, everything is amazing. But if your looking for good microphone quality, this headset is not good for you. Every single headset has had a static sound coming though the mic with no fix. Google it if you dont believe me.

@WeEffingSuck Mine did but I fixed it. You just have to adjust the microphone sensitivity settings until you get it just right.

@WeEffingSuck I I've had mine now for about 18 months with no such issue. The mic swivel is a bit loose now though. Have you updated the firmware on yours ?
